Located on the South Arthur River Touring Route just 10 mins from the Arthur River and 5 mins from the start of the Tarkine forest. A private cottage with abundant grounds and resident wildlife this is Tarkinegrove . Bird enthusiasts, photographers and artists will love Tarkinegrove. See the Platypus at dusk during season. Dozens of birds, Spotted Tail Quoll, Pademelons, & Eastern Barred Bandicoot do visit, again depending on the depending on the season.

Rose's Garden Studio

Roses Garden Studio is a sophisticated and very private self-contained space. Tariff includes breakfast provisions and a well equipped sideboard kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. A 10 min walk to the CBD, beachside restaurants and foreshore BBQ area. A 7 min drive to the hospital and university campus. Well located for daytrips in the region. Welcome to Port Cottage! A beautiful 1870’s cottage that is unique, calming and has a few little quirks! Steeped in history and once home to Joseph Lyons - Tasmania’s first and only prime minister. Perfectly nestled under the famous ‘Nut’ and within walking distance to everything. We even have resident penguins in our yard.
