This studio is located in Welches, OR. It is the perfect location to access recreational activities in the Mt Hood area - only 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline or Meadows. The studio is located on the second floor inside the main house and shares a common entry. Stroll the 27-acrewoods and sip tea by the glass mosaic fireplace. Crawl into the cozy bednook and read a book written by JRR Tolkien. Welcome to this riverfront cabin with a brand new hot tub overlooking the beautiful Salmon River. While conveniently off hwy 26 and near Mt. Hood, you’ll feel immersed in nature with the sound of the river and the old growth trees. The cabin has been recently remodeled yet the charm and character of the existing structure remain. You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

You'll have the entire ground floor, a two-room suite with large window views of Mt. Hood & the Columbia River. Windsurfers, kiters & sailboats zip across the river right below your hot tub & patio. The bedroom has a TV & comfortable queen bed. The TV room has a gas fireplace & 46-inch TV. Our food prep area has a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and fridge. It does not have a sink or stove. White Salmon is 3/4 mile away and Hood River is 10 min. away, directly across the river.

The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
