Located as close as you can get to Tech trails, our property provides easy access to mountain biking, XC skiing and running. Our home boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a unique aesthetic. After outdoor adventures or campus tours, unwind in the living room, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, or relax on the screened patio. Michigan Tech Trails are out the backdoor, offering rides through lush forests and challenging terrains for mountain bikers in summer, becoming a XC skier's dream in winter.

Home on MTU XC Ski Trails

Located on the Michigan Tech XC Ski Trails, you can ski out the back door. Take a short ungroomed trail to the classic ski trails, or walk down the road to the Mill Road TrailHead to access premier skate skiing trails. We have a ski waxing station in the garage, including a table, vise, waxing iron, scrapers and brush) so you can wax your skis. Just bring your preferred wax. Lastly, three sets of Tubbs snowshoes come with the home. Enjoy winter right from your backyard in a home away from home.

The Artist Cabin is a small one room cabin located on the AVAGUE gallery property in Lac La Belle, Michigan. AVAGUE is a new visionary art gallery open to the public. The Artist Cabin is the perfect place for mature art-minded individuals and couples that are looking for a lakefront lodging experience. Rotating art exhibits will be featured on the walls of the cabin throughout the year. This private studio cabin includes a full size bed, kitchen table, kitchenette appliances and utensils.
