Tooloom Homestead - High Country Escape.

The 18 meter long, open entertainment area includes a large dining room table, slow combustion fire and huge open fireplace. Constructed from local hardwood timber, the house is imbued with a distinctive Australian aesthetic and the walls are decorated with botanical eucalyptus drawings. Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. Bonalbo B&B "Manning Cottage"

Manning cottage was once a school house, but now welcomes visitors to its rooms. Set in a tranquil environment surrounded by birdlife and rolling hills, the cottage is beautifully decorated for practicality and comfort. A well stocked breakfast basket with locally sourced produce is included. The Upper Clarence district offers a choice of outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, bird-watching, bushwalking, 4wdriving as well as the local show, campdraft, and dog trials are held annually.
