Manning cottage was once a school house, but now welcomes visitors to its rooms. Set in a tranquil environment surrounded by birdlife and rolling hills, the cottage is beautifully decorated for practicality and comfort. A well stocked breakfast basket with locally sourced produce is included. The Upper Clarence district offers a choice of outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, bird-watching, bushwalking, 4wdriving as well as the local show, campdraft, and dog trials are held annually.

Edinburgh Castle, part of Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Do not request to book if you have young children as there is a dam nearby Enjoy the Dark Sky

Farmhouse in the Condamine Gorge

Beautiful Whole Farmhouse in the Condamine Gorge near Killarney and Queen Mary Falls. Great place for families to be families without TV and WIFI. Lots of swings in trees, creeks, gentle cows in paddocks, outdoor and indoor fireplaces with spectacular views up and down the gorge. Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim under two hours drive from Brisbane. There is also currently no mobile reception (plus for some, negative for others!), but there is a free landline phone.
