Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Close to cafes, restaurants and bars, this garden studio is only a 5 minute drive to the Mona ferry terminal or a 20 minute drive to Mona. Suitable for two people with a double bed, ensuite, study bench/dining table with a basic kitchenette only. It is not equipped with a fully working kitchen. Past the second garage doors is a private narrow courtyard. Fast fibre optic internet, suitable for video or business, ensure the router is turned on in the studio. Off street free parking.

Enjoy self check in, breathtaking city and river views , & walking to great coffee, green grocers, restaurants, bars, shopping & the Farm Gate Farmers Market in my street every Sunday. A haven for weary voyagers seeking refuge after a day of exploring and it is my home in between voyagers visits.

After braving the elements during Hobart's notorious winter and filling bellies with world class food and wine, warm yourself by the fire or soak in the claw foot tub while perusing the many books on offer. Or for those sunnier days, throw open the French doors and enjoy a coffee in the courtyard.

Un beau studio privé attaché à une maison centenaire de quartier ( ça fait vieux ici). Le studio se situe dans un jardin urbain et à 25 minutes à pied au centre-ville et 30 minutes à Salamanca et le port. Des restaurants, magasins et cinéma de North Hobart, sont à 2 minutes à pied. "The Cave" is a stylish and unique self-contained apartment under my centrally located 1885 West Hobart home. It is a 15 minute walk to the city centre and a short walk to the Elizabeth Street North Hobart cafe strip. With the stairs to the entry and the bed in a raised platform "nook", "The Cave" may not be for everyone, but if you're looking for well located lodgings that ooze atmosphere I think you'll love it!
