The tranquil sound of the water fountain sets the mood for Shady Rest. (removed during winter) Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub. (open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. Bring your bikes and hit the Tunnel Hill Bike Trail just down the road. Lace up your hiking boots and enjoy all The Shawnee National Forest has to offer with many hiking spots within driving distance. For boating and fishing, Lake of Egypt is only a twenty-minute drive.

Experience a relaxing getaway in this unique studio. Enjoy swinging on the porch while sipping coffee and watching the sunrise. Listen to the birds and watch the horses, sheep and donkey grazing in the field. You are welcome to take walks around the property and fish in the pond. We are in an Amish community with horse and buggy’s traveling up and down the road. This is the perfect place to escape from city or just a getaway to relax and unwind.

1930s Speakeasy vibe; nestled in wooded acreage on a new flower farm, this newly constructed apartment offers the perfect escape. Whether you're here for the nearby wineries, casino, outdoor adventures, weddings or a campus visit, this retreat provides comfort and convenience. Please note that this space is located on a working farm. From time to time, there will be equipment being operated. We will do our best to stay out of the guests way.
