Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.

Adjacent to Routt National Forest and the Zirkel Wilderness. Nestled in the aspen and pines with private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4wd or AWD preferred travel in winter. The Marmots, will often make an appearance. Wildlife abounds, moose, deer, elk pronghorn, bear, wolf and fox as well as many species of bird call this special place home. The spacious deck overlooks the forest and the mountains as well as the warm water ponds.

Tucked behind a large rock and in a cluster of aspen trees is the river cabin. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home that has been recently renovated with hardwood flooring, new appliances, countertops and fireplace. The best feature is the large deck over looking the Eagle River. For being in town it is a private location. The home is located in Minturn the old town of the Vail Valley ideally situated between Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts.
