There are many historical lighthouses and museums, wineries, boat tours, deep sea fishing, clam digging, golf courses, restaurants and shopping all within a 30 minutes.

This historic cottage features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Walking distance to a Provincial Beach & pet friendly. Bbq provided. Explore the woods, walking trails, listen to the ocean waves. Climbing ropes, trampoline, free range chickens! Enjoy the fire pit, water view sauna! Like many homes on the island, this is a very old, rustic cottage with lots of charm and the most comfy beds. If you’re looking for a hot tub experience check out 'The fisherman's cottage' a short distance away.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Set back from a clifftop on the Northumberland Strait, 3 minute walk to beautiful sandy beach. 1900 sq. ft. Cottage has been completely renovated inside with new kitchen, bath, flooring, all furnishings and appliances replaced. 30ft. Front deck has covered and open sections.
