La maison est l'entrée historique donnant l'accès au village fortifié (Kasteli) le mieux préservé de l'île. L'endroit est très calme car situé au coeur des ruelles du village. La casa sorge di fianco ad uno dei "sette sporti", storiche porte di ingresso al centro storico di Castel Del Monte, incastonata tra le due torri del lato est del borgo. E' piccola e accogliente, facilmente raggiungibile con una breve scalinata imboccando via Giuseppe Verdi e poi svoltando sotto l'arco sulla destra. La posizione sul lato est la rende molto luminosa,anche in inverno, con un panorama che spazia dalla cresta di Capo la Serra verso Nord-est, ed i monti della Majella a sud-est.
