Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, the Retreat is situated within a secluded & idyllic south-facing meadow. Nestled at the foot of a beautiful woodland garden, The Lodge is clearly separated from the main house. Tucked away in its own peaceful wooded setting, the property offers a rare blend of tranquillity and convenience. Just a short walk from the village and only 7 minutes from the station, with fast trains reaching central London in 30 minutes. Whether you're visiting for work or leisure, this self-contained cabin provides a tranquil base with modern comforts and beautiful natural surroundings.

Field End Contemporary rural barn

A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake.
