Great location for access to tons of hiking, flyfishing and other outdoor activities in the beautiful Bitterroot valley. Large shower with dual shower heads, stainless appliances and plenty of room to cook, two large decks for outdoor lounging and grilling. Note: the last mile or so is a primitive road. Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

Welcome to The Silo. Once grain storage bins on a working dairy farm, these twin silos have been re-purposed into a brand new 2-story living space in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley. Three out of four original generations still make their home on this location which has transitioned from a full-time dairy farm to a host property. Acres on which to roam with your dog leash free (pet fee), a pond busy with birds & critters, incredible scenery, and delightful small towns along Hwy 93 await!

Our guesthouse is on the same property as our home with 8 acres of natural landscape. You have privacy with your own parking area. Come stay for a day, two or more. Just off HWY- 93, our tiny, cabin offers a place to relax by the creek. It includes high-speed Wifi, kitchenette. All just a stroll from the Bitterroot River (East fork). There is plenty of hot water in a spacious shower. Soak in the hot tub NEXT DOOR off our back deck. Guests reserve it for the time they want to use it and have it completely private. The cabin includes a Nature's Head composting toilet and a small loft with single bed. (which is the other bedroom)
