Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Cave End Cottage is over 300 years old and is our much loved second home. Many original features remain including wobbly walls, wooden beams and a beautiful, large fireplace. It's perfectly located in Castleton at the bottom of Cavedale, a picturesque valley below Peveril Castle. This is for the entire cottage with parking for 2 vehicles only. Located on the edge of the village with River Peakshole running at the back of the cottage garden but within 5 minutes walking distance of seven pubs, restaurants and shops. . The back of cottage takes you to the Mam Tor and Edale, perfectly located.
