The River House is located on the Monocacy River with the Monocacy National Battlefield on the opposite shore. Downtown Frederick, Maryland is just 3 miles away. A brick charcoal barbecue grill is offered for outdoor grilling. There are 3 units available in the River House. This is the largest and includes a full modern kitchen with island seating for 5, 2 full baths, washer/dryer and sleeps 5 comfortably. The property is served by T-Mobile high speed internet. The Villa is not pet friendly.

Originally constructed in the early 1800's, the structure was built over a natural spring that was used for refrigeration. The original stone well, channel and stone flooring are all intact for guests to explore and experience how our ancestors lived.
