Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Minutes from Alcorn State University, The Natchez Trace and Port Gibson, MS; twenty-eight minutes from Natchez, MS and forty-five minutes from Vicksburg, MS. The home has three queen beds, one full bathroom and a half bath in the master bedroom. A full kitchen with refrigerator and stove. A laundry room with a washer and dryer and a two car garage.

The Billiard Room Suite is an apartment in an 1853 brick dependency on the grounds of Lansdowne, one of the few historic homes in the area with original furnishings and still owned and occupied by direct descendants of the original owners. My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. While the cottage will sleep four guests, be advised the rooms are small and will only hold a double bed in each bedroom.
