The Garage is a SMALL quirky, cosy, comfortable, self contained Garage convertion. The space is small! The bed is a standard 4’6” double . The en-suite is SMALL! distant sea views. Excellent WiFi. Lahinch town and beach are a pleasant 10 minute stroll. 10 km from The Cliffs of Moher. While we are happy to host for just one night, many guests who have arrived for one night have said they wished they’d booked for 2 because there’s lots to see and enjoy and it’s nice to have time to relax

A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

You have a deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ which overlooks our chicken run, friendly dogs and 2 donkeys also on site. Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and only a 10 min walk to catch the sun set on Galway Bay; with the Burren on our door step and 45 min drive to the Cliffs of Moher. A newish build, at just a mile and a half (2.6km) from Eyre Square, my place feels as if in the middle of the country. It’s a separate, self-contained, completely private extension to the main house. Having your own transport is preferable, with lots of parking space around the extension/chalet. Other than food, everything else is provided. Do not book our space if you want the buzz & noise of the city, as we are on its outskirts.
