Come enjoy our Mountain Getaway nestled in The Nantahala National Forest and only 3 miles from Main St. in Franklin. You will enjoy quiet solitude after a full day of hiking, biking, white water rafting, or viewing some of our many waterfalls. Smoky Bear Lodge is a 4-plex boutique lodge across from the Smokies National Park! Each room is private with no shared living spaces. We are located on US-321, which leads directly into downtown Gatlinburg (20 min). The Maddron Bald National Park trail is 1 minute away . Dogs MUST BE on the reservation when booking. Dollywood is 35-40 mins away. There is an outdoor shared community area with Charcoal Grill, Picnic Table, Water Fall Feature, Fire Pit, and Large Game Room (In detached building)!

Private studio apartment

This apartment is attached to my home, but has a separate entrance. One queen bed. Kitchen area does not have a regular stove/oven but does have a counter top toaster/broiler/convection oven, brand new 2 burner stove top, electric skillet, microwave, refrigerator. Also, just added a TV to the apartment. Open area with couch and chair. Island top with 2 chairs. Private bathroom and access to washer & dryer. Guests can expect privacy while enjoying the deck and using the grill and/or hot tub.

Tranquil Tennessee Getaway

Enjoy a walkout downstairs apartment which includes a LR, additional seating area w/sleeper sofa, BR w/king bed, bathroom, dining room, kitchenette, small patio space, private entrance, & parking. The living area has a view and the décor is eclectic and updated. (This space is NOT childproofed, and NOT for small children.) It is best suited for 2 adults, but can accommodate 2 more guests (13 and over) w/sleeper sofa. Dollywood is 4 miles, GSMN park is about 12, and Pigeon Forge is only 2.

Spend time here fishing in the river right outside your door, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park 3 minutes away or taking a short drive into Knoxville for an iconic UT football game. If that doesn't fill your vacation with plenty to do, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are only a short drive away.
