The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Moorakyle Retreat is on 300 acres, private, self-contained with a full kitchen, surrounded by countryside and gardens, and is set apart from the main house The cottage is modern, well-appointed, filled with natural light, with full heating/cooling and a wood fire. A must for those who love nature and animals. We are just 15 minutes from Daylesford and touring distance for all that the central highlands can offer.

Creek View

This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

Our ORTO Cottage is gorgeous: it offers complete privacy or the chance to engage with us. We are a Cooking School & Regenerative Farm. We offer a tour of our property on arrival: opt out if you wish. We provide fresh eggs, home made bread, milk, coffee & seasonal herbs from our garden. Our beautiful summer wetland is perfect for swimming, fishing, reading a book. LGBTQI welcome! Enjoy amazing sunsets, watch the kangaroos from the veranda, or take a walk through local bushlands. The outdoor fire area is the perfect place to unwind and view the amazing stars on a clear night. A few minutes drive from Talbot and 15 minutes drive from the famous Clunes Book Town. Being Central Victoria we have many small towns surrounding us within an hours drive.

Shepherds Hill Cottage Blissful Farm Stay Getaway

A gorgeous, gently restored miners cottage set in a tranquil location, Shepherds Hill Cottage is part of a working alpaca farm. The secluded cottage has it's own private garden and is right next to the alpaca nursery paddock, so expect to see lots of crias (baby alpacas)! The cottage is conveniently located, 10mins to Kyneton, 15mins to Trentham, 20 mins to Daylesford and 1hr 15mins to Melbourne.

Dijon

Dijon is a small but charming, self-contained studio space with one queen sized bed, kitchenette, couch and table within that area. Set in a spacious garden it comes equipped with some breakfast provisions, cooking basics, separate bathroom area and outdoor garden seating. It is only a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, cafes, and therapy providers or alternatively, bushland walking tracks.

Close to Daylesford, this converted shed is beautiful and simple, warm and very comfortable, when not on Airbnb it is used as a workshop space, you can explore the veggy garden and a medicinal plant garden, there can be things to pick depending on the season.
