Conveniently located 3 miles from downtown Athens and all of the wonderful night spots and restaurants, the Classic City Convention Center activities, and all the goings on at the University of Georgia. 1 mile to the nearest grocery store. Not suitable for smoking, pets, and children under 13.

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, and then scramble some farm fresh eggs provided by the host’s chickens. The guesthouse is within 10-15 minutes of the Firefly Bike Trail, the North Oconee River Greenway, and Watson Milll Bridge State Park. Also nearby is the Broad River Outpost to rent kayaks for a float down the Broad River.

The Coop at Winterwood Farm

Welcome to The Coop! We are located in the historic city of Winterville, Georgia- 7 miles east of Athens. We have renovated a section of our barn into a colorful, comfortable guest suite for friends, family, and to use during their stay in the area. We are in walking distance of the Marigold Auditorium, the Winterville Cultural Center and Gallery, the Winterville Library, the Front Porch Bookstore, the Marigold Market (seasonal) , Pittard Park, and the Firefly Trail.

Located on the South Fork Broad river just below Watson Mill Bridge State Park. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This Aframe along the river is perfect for a couples getaway. King size bed in the loft. Bring your beach towels. Chairs are available to sit on the sanbars and rocks in the river. In the pasture behind the cabin, our friendly goats love attention and are always happy to greet guests.

Athens Forest Farm & Sauna

Come rest and recharge at our unique 20 acre in-town Athens farm retreat. Walk the private 3/4 mile wooded path along Trail Creek and experience the Finnish sauna in the woods. The 1890's farmhouse has been completely renovated, is solar powered, on a whole-house filtered well, has organic linens, a wood burning stove, fire pit and has excellent wifi. Perfect for outdoor entertaining and social distancing events.
