Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

Covered parking near the entry. The Magnolia Guesthouse was featured on HGTV’s Home Town S5, Ep12. Sadly, wasn't chosen, but we did a full remodel shortly thereafter. Set on a hillside overlooking one of Laurel's prominent avenues, 7th Avenue Manor offers 5 bedrooms and 3+ baths. Cozy up around the outdoor fireplace or enjoy a cup of coffee on the secluded morning patio. While outside, boards are also available to test your corn hole skills. Just inside you will find a large dining room, spacious kitchen, and large laundry. This house retains the 1930's character, but has been beautifully renovated to offer today's conveniences.
