Handicap accessible. Within a short drive of 2 major ski resorts, the Flight 93 Memorial and 2 wineries. Several restaurants and a brewery also within a 15 minute drive. The property includes an outside firepit that is a favorite place for guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Sit out on the back or front porch for morning coffee, watch the local turkey or deer pass through. Minutes away from one of the inaugural Rails to Trails in the east, including The Ghost Town Trail. You can bike, or walk along the beautiful river. Fifteen minute drive to Yellow Creek State Park. 25 minute drive to IUP, Saint Francis University and Mount Aloysious College.

Since you are in the heart of Amish country there is home cooking and baking nearby! The area boasts of several antique shops as well. The lower level apartment you will have to yourself. It has a separate entrance from the main level. This level features a gas fireplace, large master bedroom and partial kitchen.

This mountain house is located at an elevation of +2,900 feet; hands down, the Midway Chalet is the premier vacation chalet on Blue Knob Mountain and all of West Central PA! Located in a residential section of the Blue Knob ski area, the quiet of the mountains surrounds our privately-owned house. Our home has four (4) bedrooms and a bunk room that will accommodate up to 3 families or a group of up to a maximum of 10 adults.
