Trinity Cottage - Moriston River Frontage
Logement entier : cottage · 4 voyageurs · 2 lits · 1 salle de bains

Trinity Cottage - Moriston River FrontageHi and welcome to Moriston River Cottages. Trinity Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. To ensure comfort and make sure everything needed is included, we've stayed in Trinity ourselves and we loved every minute. Trinity is located with a great view of Moriston River and 5 min from Loch Ness. We found sleeping to the sound of the river very therapeutic! Sitting outside or viewing the river from inside Trinity was spectacular. The King size beds were both very comfortable as well as the bedding.

Les activités les mieux cotées à Loch Ness

Unique activities hosted by local experts vetted for quality

  • Histoires et balade au-dessus du Loch Ness
Hidden secret gardens, 'baby' Giant Sequioa, Rogues, Vikings and possibly even a monster are the things you'll hear about and see during our walk around the Craigmonie Woodland and Balmacaan Estate. Meeting at my house we'll head towards the old estate and wind our way through a mix of oak and native Scots pine woodland on the path up to the viewpoint. Along the way you'll hear the history of the area from visits by Robert the Bruce, the legend of a Norse Prince who lent his name to a couple of landmarks and a Bard that got into a spot of bother with the local clan chief. The viewpoint itself will give spectacular views over Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness where you can pause and soak up the scenery. We'll stop here for a while to have a dram of malt whisky and toast the scenery before meandering back home under the crag and through Hazel woods. Other things to note: The path is mostly good quality singletrack and forest path and there is a fair amount of ascent involved so a reasonable amount of fitness is required.

  • Cérémonie celtique du jeûne
We will collect you both from your accommodation and take you to a beautiful and secret location near Loch Ness with celtic rings and altar where dressed in traditional Scottish dress I will explain this full celtic ritual of handfasting. After the traditional gaelic introduction the rest of the ceremony will be in english and I will join your hands together and you will repeat the old vows of binding from long ago. You will be offered the chance to recite your own vows after this if you wish. After the ceremony you can relax with your loved one and a romantic and decadent Scottish gourmet picnic and drinks complete with fire, rugs, blankets, crockery etc. We will then return you to your selected inverness destination. Other things to note This is not a legally binding ceremony and available for lovers, married couples, same sex and mixed sex couples alike.

  • Lever du soleil dans un endroit magique
Ths is a chance to experience a sunrise high up at the monument known as Cnoc Fyrish above the Cromarty Firth. Its a very early start as we need to drive out to the area and climb to the top for the sunrise - but it will all be worth it! At the monument I will help in you getting the best from your camera and ensure you take some super sunrise shots, we'l then have a picnic of shortbread and coffee. The walk is around 2.5 hours there and back with time at the top it's normally 3 hours covering around 4km with a challanging 300m ascent. But we take it at your pace and with incredible views the whole way, we stop for plenty of photos as we catch our breath on the way up! You do need to be prepared for windy and chilly weather, even in summer and it may mean that our picnic is a speedy one, or we have it lower down the hill once we have seen the sunrise. In the case of rain we may not be able to see a sunrise, but the tour will still go ahead. Other things to note Guests need to have a moderate level of fitness and the ability to walk a hilly 5 miles. Please ONLY consider this tour if your health allows for this kind of activity.
