Coal Creek Cottage is a peaceful, private, dog and kid-friendly retreat perfect for couples or small families looking for easy access to the North Cascades! The cottage is situated on a quiet road just 7 minutes east of Sedro Woolley and 15 minutes from I-5. It comfortably sleeps 1-6. Inside there is a full kitchen, high speed internet, 2 Smart TVs for streaming, and laundry. Outside boasts separate driveway, private patio, and a fenced play yard with firepit. We are about 1 hour from the NCNP.

The Loft at Thunder Creek

Bird lovers come and enjoy Eagles and Kingfishers hunting along the creek. Relax and rejuvenate in the spacious 600 square foot loft above a garage. There are 16 stairs to climb to get there. You will also enjoy the 200 square foot attached deck. There is one full sized bed and a roll away twin size bed. There is a small European shower, it measures 32"x 32". You will travel a mile on an unpaved, country road to get here, in the winter months a 4wheel drive vehicle or chains would be wise.

Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. We are happy to share our patio and garden with our guests.

Edison Schoolhouse, curated by Smith and Vallee

Built into a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse and located behind Smith & Vallee Gallery in the heart of Edison, WA. Large waterfront yard, decks with expansive views of the Edison slough and the San Juan Islands, large covered porch, family and dog friendly accommodations. Included is a garden cottage, steps away from the Schoolhouse, with a desk and strong wifi for a quiet workspace or writing retreat. An oasis tucked in to the bustling village of Edison.

Elephant Hill

This is a lovely, modern walkout-basement suite (2 private bedrooms with queen beds, full bath with tub/shower and warm-water bidet seat, living space with sink, quartz countertops, breakfast bar and large refrigerator--no stove). We live a quiet life upstairs with our old dog. Your suite and parking is all on one level, with no stairs or ramps. A small covered patio provides neighborhood ambiance and a place to relax outdoors.
