The Depot B & B: A Peaceful Retreat

Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

Next to the heart of the UIUC campus and surrounded by mature trees, this spacious, serene guest suite offers a relaxing stay. It has a private entrance with a foyer, a studio style main room and a bathroom. Sleeps two comfortably with a queen bed and a sofa (not a pull-out) for lounging. No TV, washer, or dryer. No kitchenette, but a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker are provided. Snacks and coffee pods provided. Not accessible for limited mobility. No parties and no smoking.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom quaint craftsman home is in downtown Urbana. The home has been restored to the era of when Roger Ebert lived there — according to details in chapter 1 of his autobiography, “Life Itself.” We're a 12-minute drive to downtown Champaign + a 5 minute drive to the U of I campus. We're happy to host families, too! Find a Mid Century Modern style complete with books written by Ebert; his school yearbooks from Urbana High; + more Illini and Urbana-centric nostalgia.

Salt Fork River Bungalow

Completely remodeled CLEAN rustic-minimalist home in a safe rural setting. Less than 20 minutes from Champaign-Urbana, home of the U of I, and only 3 minutes to the famous Sidney Dairy Barn. This cozy home overlooks the beautiful Salt Fork River where you can unwind on the restored double swing. You may see deer, squirrels, owls, hawks, eagles, and hummingbirds (in season). Relax and enjoy the country while still being close to city action. We know you will love it here!

This clean, comfortable, single family home is located in an established residential neighborhood and is ideal for short or longer term visitors to the University of Illinois, or any other attraction in Champaign-Urbana. It is a 5 minute drive to the University, its stadium and other sports complexes, and the State Farm Event Center. As you'll see from the attached photos, the cozy house is tastefully furnished with everything you need for your stay.

Our Home is in a quiet cul-de-sac in west Urbana just minutes away from U of I campus/stadium, State Farm Center, and hospitals; as well as golf course/driving range, restaurants, and shopping. This home has everything you will need for a comfortable stay; whether it’s for a long weekend or a month long stay. There is a king bed in master and queen bed in the guest room with extra pillows/blankets and the bathrooms are well stock.

Hope’s Place

Bright, cheerful, and relaxing studio apartment in the center of town. Quiet neighborhood full of charm. Short walk to bus stop and Clark Park. Perfect for your next weekend away or business trip! 2 miles from Memorial Stadium & State Farm Center This is a petite space, and the shower is sized accordingly. The queen sized mattress is soft and luxurious, but if you prefer a firm mattress, this may not be the bed for you.
