A secluded cozy cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Located in the Pisgah National Forest, this getaway is only an hour drive from Asheville. Relax to the sound of flowing water on the front porch, or take a trip to nature destinations nearby. Enjoy your day at one of three ski resorts nearby or enjoy a day of waterfalls and wineries. If you choose to stay in, we have 9 acres of beautiful unspoiled land to explore. Spend evenings in our barn Billiard Room with TV’s and Poker/Game Table.

Country home can easily accommodate a large family or two small families. Three bedrooms that include 1 queen size bedroom with private master bath, 1 full size bedroom and 1 twin size bedroom with full guest bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Living area with TV, cable and wireless internet. Enclosed sun porch with gorgeous mountain views. Sit on the back deck and enjoy the peaceful stream. Five minutes from quaint downtown Burnsville and just 35 minutes from Asheville, NC.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Cabin w/Mountain & Sunset Views One Bedroom & Loft

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Build a fire and relax in the pavilion by the fireplace or sit around the fire pit. Guests comment that they sleep so well in the room. Walk to property to see the chickens, horse and donkey. Just a great place to just relax! We have added a small chair that converts to a bed (not very comfy) if you are traveling with kids - we can squeeze 3 in.

Surprisingly Spacious Tiny Home on our Mini Farm

Our tiny house is located on our 2 acre homestead, where we garden and raise chickens, ducks, heritage rabbits & Nigerian dwarf goats. Designed and built by us in 2016, our tiny house is surprisingly spacious, has a cozy modern cabin feel, features minimalist decor and plenty of amenities. Our tiny house is located… 35 mins from downtown Asheville 30 mins from the Blue Ridge Parkway 45 mins from Grandfather Mtn and other top tier hiking 25 mins from the A.T. 5 mins from Burnsville

Mountain Shack with friendly animals and a view!

Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

Welcome to Outlanders, a cozy mountain home centrally located in historic Burnsville NC. Burnsville is sandwiched between Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mount Mitchell and many hiking trails. The home is walking distance to the downtown areas' brewery, artists, restaurants, shops and Saturday morning farmer's market (1 to 3 blocks). While at home enjoy the private and secluded back porch, hot tub and/or the outdoor fire pit.

Dave’s Place, a cozy 2-bedroom cabin on the creek

‘Dave’s place’ is located on a private driveway just minutes from Roan Mountain State Park. This quiet and relaxing mountain get away is perfect for those wanting to hike the Appalachian trail, explore the near by park and attractions, or simply sit back and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Enjoy a creek behind the house. A bridge going across the creek includes benches.
