A large light filled self contained studio home. Decorated with a scandi-minimalist palette. This well appointed home offers a full kitchen with induction cooking facilities, convection oven and all the equipment to prep a romantic meal. A bedroom area under high vaulted ceilings decked out with a queen size bed, luxury mattress and egyptian cotton sheets, is a relaxing and airy space for kicking back after a day of exploring. A stylish and modern bathroom that boasts a rain-shower is just the way to unwind and soak up the Melbourne mornings. Guests have access to their private entrance and courtyard area with an alfresco garden setting for breakfasting and sharing a yarn next to a small organic herb garden. Michele and myself are available for any questions, tall stories and any recommendations for what to do in Melbourne. Located within the greenery and parklands of Princes Hill and Historic Carlton, it's a short stroll to Rathdown Street village and the iconic "Little Italy" eateries in Lygon St. Then settle in for a movie at the local Arthouse Cinema Nova. We are located within a 5 minute walking distance to tram lines heading to the City, Sydney Road and Brunswick East and parking is available around the home or else just bike about like a true local.

This bright, architect-designed space has a mid-century feel, polished with quirky art and a super comfortable bed. For a truly Fitzroy experience, entry is from a cobbled bluestone laneway moments from vibrant Smith Street. The city, Fitzroy’s vibrant pubs, cafes, restaurants, markets and nightlife, our best universities and hospitals are all only moments away from this central, chi chi and bright studio.

The Garden Apartment

Spacious renovated apartment in the garden behind our 19th century Victorian house with its own entrance along the side path. Close to several parks, swimming pool/gym/tennis complex, and Queens Parade shopping strip. The neighbourhood is 4 km from the Melbourne CBD, and 100 meters from 86 tram to city and train station, and bus line along Hoddle Street. All this provides easy access to city, MCG, Rugby Stadium, Tennis Centre, Theatres and NGV. We are empty nesters with a kelpie dog, Peppy.

The Stables, Fitzroy Nth - spacious, light filled

A uniquely Melbourne experience - perfect for an extended (or short) stay. The Stables were originally built in 1880 for the horses that serviced the Victorian home they are situated behind. The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please). It is a short stroll to great food, leafy Edinburgh Gardens, public transport and bike paths.

The train station is 5 min walk away giving you access to Melbourne CBD & all sporting and cultural events. The choices are endless. We offer complimentary porridge, cereals, teas & pod coffee.

Our smartly designed micro Studio contains Bosch washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine. German made oven & microwave and induction cook top. Iron, steamer & ironing board, clothes line & hair dryer. Air conditioning /heating. Smart TV. Please note studio is extensively steam cleaned for your COVID-19 safety, along with eco friendly cleaning products. We use solar power and have our own water tank to ensure we limit our environmental footprint.

Welcome to your home, located in the heart of Yarraville. The stunning studio includes everything you need for a weekend away or a longer stay. The studio features a comfortable living area complete with a cosy fireplace for chilly nights or air-conditioned comfort for balmy summer evenings, plus luxurious linen, and wi-fi. With restaurants, walks, beaches and a classic cinema at your doorstep, you can adventure out or stay in with all the luxuries provided at home.

The Old Stables

The old stables in Fitzroy North. Our space is a renovated old stables situated at the back of our home in Fitzroy north. The two properties are kept separate, so the house is all yours for the duration of your stay. We designed the space to feel as though it is connected to the garden, the wooden ceiling and large glass sliding doors open up to let nature in. This is a place for relaxation, a retreat that is still close to the fun of the city.
