Charming 2BR cabin secluded enough that at night the only sounds you'll likely hear are the occasional calls of the resident owls, yet less than 15 minute drive from the bustle of Vashon town. Sleeps 4, with fully equipped kitchen, a large deck and a view into the surrounding woods we call the huckleberry forest because most of the underbrush is delicious huckleberries which can be picked from as early as June through December. Come get away from it all! Note: not suitable for young children.

Located on 6+ acres of forested land, staying at the cabin feels like you’re at your own little mountain retreat, even though you’re close to town and plenty of other things to explore. We’ve designed our cabin to be cozy and inviting, the kind of place you go to reflect, get lost in a book, or reconnect with friends and family. We hope we can host you soon!

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Anderson Island is a great little getaway Island in the south Puget Sound off the coast of Steilacoom Washington. There's 2 fresh water lakes for swimming (one also for powerboats), a golf course, historical farm to visit, a coffee shop and a lake-front restaurant/bar for dining. Activities include hiking, rowing, fishing, bird watching, swimming, tennis, pickleball, crabbing, squiding, beach combing and golfing. Perfect place for a fun little vacation and some good old fashioned R&R..
