Little Round Cabin on the Pine 2 - The "Pine Cone"

The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. This waterfront cottage has beautiful views of the Wisconsin River. My husband and I have lived here for more than 20 years. We love this area - there is nothing like a cool, crisp Midwest morning overlooking the Wisconsin River. Or enjoying a great glass of wine (or Wisconsin beer) while watching a spectacular summer sunset from the deck. This quaint cabin in the woods is the perfect getaway from your busy life. On the doorsteps of Castle Rock Lake, Petenwell Lake, and Wisconsin River; making it a utopia for outdoor adventures. From hiking, fishing, and boating in the summer to snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, and ice fishing in the winter there is always plenty to do. The cabin is fully furnished and comfortably accommodates all guests. Only a short drive from Wisconsin Dells and other festivals occurring year-round.

Maggie's Place at Echo Valley Farm

Enjoy simple living in this cabin set in the heart of our farm. Walk the property or go the short distance to Wildcat Mountain State Park or to Kickapoo Valley Reserve. A hiker's paradise you can also enjoy fresh baked goods from our bakery May through October, or pre order year round.
