Secluded Forest Retreat, Paradise Valley, Rotorua

Romantic getaway, total privacy within 18 acres of native bush. Disconnect from society, re-connect with yourself. Our tiny house in the trees is set amongst the ferns and pongas with seclusion in mind, only native birds as close neighbours. No road noise, off street parking. Nature permitting, you can star gaze while soaking in the outdoor bath, spot the milky way, or our very own glow worms. 15mins drive to CBD and Eat street, Gondolas, Canopy Tours, Hobbiton approximately an hour away.

Lake Rotoiti Lakefront - hot water creek

The hot water creek is in our bay! Wind your way through a pretty forest on the shores of Lake Rotoiti. 20 mins from Lake Rotorua. The bach is a big L shaped room with a separate bathroom. A hot pool is in the bush about a 15 minute walk away. Kayak to the hot water stream in the corner of the bay. Grab a water taxi up to the Lake Rotoiti Hotpools (only accessible by boat. Lovely for swimming. Bike and walk in the forest. Note- TV does not get reception ( there are a range of DVDs onsite).

The Cabin at Lake Tarawera.

The Cabin at Lake Tarawera is a gorgeous retreat overlooking the lake and volcano. Designed for two, it features a king bed, bathroom, and a covered deck with outdoor seating and a BBQ. Inside, you'll find a little fridge with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a toaster, and other essentials. Nestled in a stunning location, it’s just moments from the Black Barn wedding venue, boat launches, a swimming beach, and the scenic lake path. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding in nature’s beauty.

Hannahs Bay Sleep out

Welcome to Hannahs bay. We are close to the Rotorua airport, Whakarewarewa forest and the mountain bike park. We are 1 block from the lake front and Hannahs bay Reserve. The Sleepout is a bedroom set in a garden which is private, there is a place to lock up bikes and there is an outside bath, you are free to share the house with us during your stay. Breakfast is provided. If mountain biking, climbing, hiking and running is your idea of fun let us know and we will assist!!

This charming property is ideally located just 5.7 km from Rotorua International Stadium, offering easy access to a range of local attractions. This lovely serviced house locates at central part of Rotorua City with 1 bedrooms with large yard. We offer up to 2 Double beds + 1 sofa bed, Free View TV, and basic necessities including clean bed sheets, Duvets, towels, toilet papers, teas bags, etc for your short stays. Free unlimited WiFi is available here as well.

Tranquill Country Retreat in Rotorua City

Country living within city limits overlooking a small pond with views toward Mt Ngongotaha and the hills around Rotorua. This property is NOT suitable for children. It has a kitchenette, with a fridge, small gas hob and microwave, a bedroom and ensuite. The small living area opens fully on to a substantial covered deck, doubling your living space. The property is down a long ROW, tucked in behind some fruit trees and overlooking a small pond.

A little hideaway, surrounded by gardens and free ranging chickens, overlooking the native trees with Ngongataha stream running through them. This is a detached self contained studio unit best suited to couples wanting some reasonably quite space to recover from and prepare for the abundant exciting activities offered in Rotorua. Minimal cooking facilities include, microwave,toaster, jug, sandwich maker and fridge/freezer.

Redwood Bivvy

Our newly built cabin is perfectly located for adventurers wanting to explore the redwood forest and lakes or is a peaceful space for those looking to relax and unwind. Enjoy a soak in the outdoor cedar bathtub while overlooking Rotorua. A 5 minute pedal will have you in the forest, connecting to the forest loop. Local cafes and pubs are only a couple minutes drive down the hill with the CBD a 10 minute drive.
