Approached via private steps leading off North View Road, an extra wide front door opens into a cathedral-like open plan living space with vaulted ceilings and breathtaking panorama of sparkling blue water and azure skies of Torbay. In addition to the wall of full width, floor to ceiling folding doors that open onto the main terrace, thoughtfully positioned Velux windows (electrically operated) ensure the entire first floor is bathed in light and air. This stunning property is arranged over 2 floors, the 1st floor open plan living space is finished with under floor heated hard wood and ceramics. It has a superb fitted kitchen with every possible built in appliance, an expanding glass dining table with seating for 6, a corner area with sofas (one is a sofa-bed), coffee table and large smart TV. Full width folding doors lead to a large terrace with outside furniture from which you can enjoy breathtaking views over Torbay. An extra wide door off of the kitchen leads to a utility room with washing machine and then into a large wheelchair friendly disabled bathroom with w/c, wash basin and shower with bench. A glass balustraded staircase opposite the main entrance door leads down to the luxuriously carpeted lower bedroom accommodation. The spacious master en-suite bedroom on the left has a king size bed, built in vanity table & chair, built in wardrobes. A glass door opens onto the full width balcony with majestic sea views. The large en-suite shower room is equipped with luxury step in shower, w/c, wash basin and heated towel rail. The 2nd en-suite bedroom also features a king size bed, built in vanity table, built in wardrobe and a glass door that opens onto the full width balcony with panoramic sea views. The en-suit bathroom is equipped with a bath tub with shower over, w/c, wash basin and heated towel rail. There is also a large glass balustraded upper patio to the left of the property that enjoys wonderful sea views. PARKING: A dedicated parking space on the quayside below is included. There is a key safe for 24 hour access. * Wheelchair accessibility - the ground floor of High Seas will eventually be fully wheelchair accessible. However, at the moment the planned exterior chair lift from the road to the front door has not yet been installed, so the wheelchair and the disabled person will need to be carried down the 10 steps to the entrance door. The ground floor has wide open spaces and a fully accessible wetroom with w/c and shower with bench. One of the sofas in the lounge converts to a luxury sofa bed.
High Seas is situated in an elevated position at the top of North View Road. It's a 5 minute downhill walk to the harbour area with its great choice of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The property also comes with a dedicated parking space on the harbourside below.

    Front Row is a charmingly decorated cottage in a prime position at the top of King Street, with stunning views over Brixham harbour from every floor. The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen and cloakroom are on the ground floor, with double bedroom/bathroom suites on each of the upper floors. Fully refurbished in 2017, the new owners have tastefully furnished and accessorised this charming harbourside cottage. Exposed stone walls, rustic beams and dozens of deft touches make this beautiful cottage a real home from home. A wood burning stove forms the heart of a spacious lounge dining area that enjoys magnificent coastal views from a large picture window. Comfortable sofas, a dining table for 4, large TV and coffee tables complete the scene. The lounge leads to an open plan traditionally fitted kitchen with serve over breakfast bar with a downstairs cloakroom & W/C and utility area with a washing machine at the rear. The 2 bedrooms are romantically fitted and decorated and feature exposed stonework, double beds, bedside tables, and TV’s should you somehow tire of the views. Ample built-in wardrobe space is included. The next door bathrooms are equipped with large modern shower areas and the top floor bathroom includes a lovely roll top bath as well. A complimentary permit for Brixham Marina Multistorey car park is included - a 7 minute walk away. Short breaks of 2 nights or more are available most of the year, excluding the 5 peak summer weeks and the last May bank holiday, when bookings are weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Children are welcome at Front Row Cottage. Travel cot, stair gate and high chair are provided. The owners are not able to provide bedding for the travel cot. Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted. Sorry, Rex! IMPORTANT NOTE - The pub next door to this property is currently undergoing refurbishment works that are likely to continue through to summer 2020. Therefore at times, there may be some noise disturbance during normal working hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.     Tom's Nest is the perfect romantic bolt hole for a luxury break on the coast. Take in the spectacular views over Brixham marina from this beautifully restored and furnished top floor apartment.   • Superbe emplacement, ne peut pas battre la vue de la salle ouverte au sommet de l'appartement. À distance de marche de tout à Brixham. Juste une chose à savoir est qu'il est à côté d'un pub d'un côté et un bar à vin de l'autre. Il y avait de la musique live et pas mal de bruit jusqu'à minuit le vendredi et le samedi, n'était pas un problème pour nous car nous étions debout assez tard, mais peut-être important si nous avons de jeunes enfants. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de super vacances dans cet appartement et Steven l'hôte était vraiment utile.

    Little Greenway is a lovely, cosy holiday home nestled near the River Dart in a small park of privately-owned bungalows just outside the village of Galmpton, Torbay, Devon.
    Little Greenway is a well equipped holiday bungalow offering a peaceful and tranquil break away. The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, one twin (2'6" beds) one double. Both rooms have fitted wardrobes. The open plan lounge offers the perfect place to unwind with TV and DVD player. The bungalow has the added benefit of WiFi. Outside is a small patio area offering views of the River Dart. Little Greenway welcomes 1 well behaved dog. There are lovely walks from the site. Guests will need to provide their own linen and towels. Duvets and pillows are provided.
  • Le logement a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour un séjour indépendant. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Marches de la porte donc pas besoin de conduire si vous ne voulez pas. Je recommanderais Greenway House (ne pas aller à l'intérieur) et des jardins, absolument magnifique. Excellente communication de l'hôte. J'aimerais revenir pour explorer un peu plus de la région :-)

  • L'accès à la propriété était facile, mon mari, qui est handicapé, avait un bon accès du parking à la propriété. Toutes les chambres étaient propres et bien entretenues. La douche était parfaite chaude et forte. Il y avait plein de casseroles, ustensiles, vaisselle et couverts. Il y avait beaucoup de brochures avec des détails sur les endroits à visiter. Si nous ne voulions pas passer la journée dans les villes ou les plages locales, il y avait beaucoup de promenades. Il y avait tellement de choses à faire que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tout voir. Le chauffage était parfait, si nous sortions, nous pouvions le mettre dès que nous entrions et le bungalow chauffait assez rapidement. Aimé être là.

    Tucked away in a traffic free lane just above Brixham's outer harbour and fish market, The Mizzen is a converted sail loft that enjoys the most spectacular sea views from a full width panoramic window in the first floor lounge. The large ground floor bedroom also benefits from wonderful sea views. By the way, the word Mizzen is the nautical term for the sail behind the mainsail.The Mizzen is laid out in an ‘upside down' fashion with the open plan lounge / kitchen / diner and bathroom located on the upper floor in order to take full advantage of the panoramic views. The large bedroom with a king size bed and a single bed are to be found on the ground floor, which also enjoys good sea views.The new owners have furnished and decorated this romantic cottage with a deft touch and it oozes charm and character from every corner. Nautical themed artwork and paintings, squishy sofas, woven cushions and colourful fabrics give this cottage a wonderful ‘home from home' feel that's a cut above the average.As with all of our properties, quality bed linen & towels are included as well as wi-fi, and all utilities. There is also fully controllable electric heating to all areas.Parking - This property does not come with a parking space.     Wren Cottage is a charming, cosy 2 bedroom cottage. Set down a private track with free parking it is far enough away to be quiet but also only a 7 minute walk (0.3miles) into town. Wren Cottage is suitable for sunny days exploring the area and with its superb log burner cosy nights in. There is a local pub only a few minutes walk which also serves food. Please note the parking space/gravel track will need to be reversed out off but there is normally parking on the hill behind the cottage.

    Our cottage is situated a short two minute walk to the picturesque harbour of Brixham, where you can watch the boats come and go, and enjoy a meal in one of the many excellent pubs or restaurants. There are great walks around Brixham, to walk off those delicious fish and chip suppers! We have two bedrooms, a sitting room and kitchen arranged over three floors. There is a private courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the sun alternatively a balcony with views out over the town.
    The cottage has two bedrooms, arranged over the top two floors, one a double the other can either accommodate a double or two singles. Both bedrooms have a sink. The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower. The stairs are rather steep so not suitable for people with mobility problems or young children. The cottage is situated on a quiet pedestrianised stepped street so parking is either in the town or on the roads above the cottage. Please note there is no parking at the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. We have a utility room out in the courtyard which has a washing machine and microwave. There is a comfortable living room with a gas fire and table and chairs. Wifi is available.
    Brixham offers so much to do, walking, shopping, dining out. There is nearby Torquay, Dartmouth and Totness. A walk up to Berry head provides an excellent opportunity to spot seals, dolphins and many seabirds. Swimming in the sea or in Shoalstone pool or crabbing in the harbour can fill your day, as well as visits to nearby National Trust properties or Dartmoor

The home is set in a beautiful garden, a natural sun trap with the coastal path just a 4 minute walk away.As you will see in the photos Sunspot has its own garden area with a patio to enjoy the sunshine.This is a privately owned home, new to the rental market. It is situated in a quiet, pleasant area of the Holiday park but with easy access to all the facilities on offer.
    We do not allow pets and there is NO smoking permitted inside Sunspot as we like to keep our home fresh and clean.There are many facilities including a well stocked Shop,heated Indoor/outdoor swimming pool,Children's play ground,bar/restaurant,club offering a wide variety of both children and adult entertainment,on site launderette and a local bus service that stops directly outside the park which takes you to the centre of Brixham.   • Nous avons eu une merveilleuse pause à l'appartement. La vue et l'emplacement sont fantastiques, absolument imbattables! L'appartement était bien présenté et bien équipé, sur un site paisible et bien entretenu. Nous avons trouvé 3 criques facilement accessibles à pied, bien que certains sentiers soient escarpés par endroits et qu’il ne se trouve qu’à environ 15-20 minutes de marche du port. Le pack de bienvenue de scones, etc. était une bonne surprise et nous n'hésiterions pas à revenir ou à recommander cet appartement.

    Private and quiet
    Brixham is an old fishing town with narrow winding streets built between 2 hills, with the town centre at the bottom in the middle. This means that pretty much anywhere you go, will involve some steps, which is easy going down, but not so easy, coming back, especially after a few drinks, and a meal. Local taxis, charge a small fee, to drive you back, should you feel the need, or do what the locals do, and walk.

    ‘Never Enough’ is a beautifully presented boat moored in an award winning marina in the picturesque fishing port of Brixham. The boat is permanently moored in a secure pontoon within the marina (not a sea going break). The boat is perfect for two adults and ideal for romantic getaways relaxing watching the sunlight glittering on the water and beautiful sunsets.
    Below deck there is a very comfortable double bed compartment separate to the main living quarters. There are facilities to make tea, coffee and enjoy breakfast either below or above on the sundeck. The sundeck provides a comfortable seating area which offers fantastic views around the harbour where you can relax with a drink while watching boats float past.
    The Marina office is open 24 hours a day with a vending machine providing confectionary and drinks. There is also information about things to do in Brixham and places to eat. Although ‘Never Enough’ has a toilet on board in accordance with the Harbour rules it cannot be used whilst in the Marina. You will be using the excellent toilet / shower facilities offered by the marina. There is also a laundrette. There is free parking for one car during your stay within the Marina’s multi storey car park which is a short walk to the Marina Office.

L'appartement est un endroit absolument incroyable et absolument magnifique. C'était très spécial de s'asseoir à la fenêtre donnant sur le port et de regarder le monde passer.   • Absolument aimé cet endroit, l'emplacement et la vue! Ian et Liz sont des hôtes exceptionnels qui veilleront à ce que votre séjour soit des plus agréables. Que vous recommandiez les endroits où aller / sorties au restaurant ou les petites attentions dans l'appartement, vous ne serez pas déçu. J'ai adoré le décor du bord de mer et les immenses fenêtres offrant une vue imprenable! Il y a également de superbes photos de Brixham prises par Ian. Nous n’avons passé que quelques jours ici, mais nous y avons passé des vacances formidables et nous reviendrons à coup sûr, l’appartement est magnifique, nous n’avons pas utilisé la voiture du tout pendant notre séjour, il y a tant à voir et à faire que de se promener! Il y a tellement de bons endroits pour manger et boire et nous avons eu tellement de chance avec le temps qu'il fait, c'est comme si nous étions partis depuis des siècles - merci encore!

Liz et Ian font vraiment un effort supplémentaire pour s'assurer que tout est parfait et ils sont des hôtes géniaux avec une attention portée aux détails qui est incomparable.     Spacious double room with sea views and private bathroom available within a family home. Located in the Furzeham area of Brixham, a 5 minute walk from the harbour and town centre. The room is on the 2nd floor of our house (up steep stairs) and the bathroom on this floor is exclusively for your use. On street parking. CAMRA award winning pub 3 minutes walk away. Family friendly.
    The bed is King Size. Tea and coffee available in the room. A telescope is in your room for extended views over Tor Bay. We can also provide a travel cot for babies and have plenty of baby equipment that we are happy to share.
    Furzeham is a quiet area of Brixham with fantastic views across to Berry Head and the Harbour. We have a pub 3 minutes walk away. The historic harbour is only 5 minutes walk.

However, there is access for a car or taxi to drop off right outside the front door.

    The Porthole is close to the harbour, shops, parks, public transport, nightlife and the town centre. Albeit a bit hilly and involving steps. You will love my place as the views truly are outstanding with a south facing balcony to sit out and relax on. New for Autumn 2019, there is now central heating for those wishing to take mid season breaks.
    The Porthole has its own private entrance into a small hallway with stairs up to the main rooms. There is a bedroom with double bed, wardrobe space and panoramic window looking out over the harbour. There is a seperate shower room with electric shower, toilet and wash basin. The living area has fridge, washing machine, four ring induction hob, microwave and mini oven. Table and chairs for dining, a sofa and TV. Tea, coffee sugar and milk are provided. Table and chairs are provided for balcony use. There is also an iron and ironing board. The property does have unique views over the inner harbour and to the sea beyond. We overlook the Golden Hind and other harbour areas as well as a vista across Torbay and down the Channel from the balcony. We are an easy, but hill and steps, walk to shops, bars, restaurants and local entertainment. There is a pleasant walk to our seawater swimming pool at Shoalstone, or slightly further to Berry Head - tea at the hotel or on up to the Fort and the Guardhouse cafe. Further afield there are visitor attractions such as Dartmouth and its many seasonal events (music festival the Regatta week and the air show etc). Torquay, which is more easily reached by ferry than by road! Totnes, a characterful town with an Elizabethan market on Tuesday. In August there are local events such as the Torbay Steam Fair, The Gooseberry Pie fair in Galmpton and of course we have the Dart Steam railway ( Paignton to Dartmouth) stopping at Churston. If you want a day trip there are a variety to choose from leaving from the harbour below; Dartmouth and Totnes by sea combining a steam train and bus ride. During the season a bird watching cruise up the river Exe is available. If you are coming at the right times there are marvellous fireworks displays both in front of the Porthole and at Paignton and Dartmouth too.
    The Porthole is located in a select residential area to the north of Brixham. We are close to all amenities, shops etc.

Entouré de bars, restaurants, boutiques et les meilleurs croustilles de poisson et de frites, vous aurez toujours beaucoup à faire. Un accès facile à Dartmouth, Paignton et Torquay en bateau et le bus numéro 12 à Newton Abbott qui vous déposera à l'extérieur de la gare dans les trois gares. Notre hôte était facilement contactable et a envoyé un e-mail avec le code de sécurité clé dans beaucoup de temps. Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir nous enregistrer un peu plus tôt. Thé, café et une pinte de lait nous attendait à l'arrivée. Il y a une machine à café qui était super aussi. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour. Je vais manquer assis sur le balcon en écoutant les mouettes le matin.

  • Cet endroit est tout à propos de la vue. C'est incroyable. L'endroit est vraiment confortable niché au «côté Hind» du port. J'ai visité Brixham à plusieurs reprises, donc je savais à peu près à quoi s'attendre avec une rue sinueuse très étroite sur le côté du port. Non prévu pour les voitures lors de la construction, donc l'accès est un peu difficile (vous pouvez décharger à peu près à l'extérieur, mais devra marcher pour se garer). Nous aimons bien cet aspect mais d'autres peuvent ne pas aimer les chemins raides, etc. L'endroit était propre et bien entretenu. Des vues magnifiques. Étourdissant. Soyez prudent sur le balcon avec de la nourriture car Sid la mouette est rapide et intelligente. Ils peuvent être bruyant la nuit mais ... vous êtes au bord de la mer! Nous reviendrons.   • Un endroit charmant! Hautement recommandé. J'ai été enchanté par la belle vue depuis le balcon. C'est un endroit parfait pour prendre un café le matin ou un verre de vin le soir. Le nid de poule est confortable et a tout ce dont un seul visiteur ou couple a besoin. C'est très pratique pour les magasins et les restaurants, et le parking est assez facile en se garer dans le parking central à quelques minutes à pied.

  • Je n'ai rien à redire sur cet endroit, il était impeccablement propre et a dépassé nos attentes. Les photos ne font pas justice, la chambre est une grande chambre lumineuse et belle avec une fenêtre massive et une vue incroyable. La pièce de devant est également lumineuse et propre avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et le balcon est également plus grand que ce à quoi nous nous attendions et vous pouvez vous y asseoir pendant des heures. La salle de bain est adorable avec une super douche et le couloir et les escaliers sont lumineux et aéré, ce qui donne une impression beaucoup plus grande que ce que les photos suggèrent. Je retournerais avec plaisir à tout moment et je le recommanderais à tout le monde.

  • Nous venons de passer un long week-end dans cette belle propriété, très bien situé pour aller à pied dans la ville où se trouvent de nombreux bars et restaurants. La propriété était impeccablement propre, très élégante et avait tous les équipements dont nous avions besoin pour notre séjour. Belle région pour nous asseoir dehors, nous avons mangé pour profiter de cet espace fugace entre les douches. Je recommande vivement cette propriété.

    Beautiful renovated 2-bedroom apartment in Castle House, which has a prominent position with stunning views across Brixham harbour and marina. After purchasing this 'holiday home' in 2018, it has been decorated throughout, and has new sofa, beds, linen, appliances and other furniture, including a new Sony Smart TV with Freesat & Netflix, wi-fi, and washing machine.
    The apartment is ideally located in the harbour bowl, as it is high enough up to feel that you can see everything without actually being 'in it'. There are just 62 quaint steps up from the quayside near Rockfish to the road that the apartment block is situated on, and there are 24 steps inside the apartment block up to the front door.
    Brixham is a beautiful fishing port with plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops, seafood shacks, and fish and chips shops. While the harbour area is bustling with both fishing and tourist activities, you can easily walk around the coast to get away, either past the marina towards Berry Head (National Trust headland) or towards Paignton (exploring the various coves and beaches). Also trips by car (or excellent bus services) to Kingswear, Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay are easy. Lots to explore.
