Guests have the use of a well maintained,spacious open planned house . There are two bathrooms , shower rooms so no need to share! Parking is available at the rear of a very amenable garden getting full sun for most of the day .
Situated in the desirable leafy residential suburb of Chelston the property has easy access to local independent shops , cafés and take aways.There are two local pubs , The Chelston Manor .a 17th Century hostelry ,serving a range of affordable meals or the Haywain , a more sports bar sort of joint serving a range of snacks and food. The Drum Inn in Cockington is only a 10 minute walk.

  • Une belle maison avec de grands espaces avec quelques touches originales dans les meubles! Beaucoup d'oeuvres d'art à admirer et des collections de modèles réduits de voitures, d'animaux tricotés et d'horloges! Collection de livres intéressants aussi. La maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour notre séjour. Les vues de l'arrière sur Torquay sont charmantes et c'était génial de pouvoir s'asseoir dans le jardin et profiter du soleil. On se sentait comme à la maison.

  • Jasmine Cottage est situé dans un beau village près de la côte. Tout est comme annoncé, propre, calme et extrêmement bien équipé. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour là-bas et nous reviendrons certainement ici. Tina est très sympathique et attentive, et le temps était magnifique! Beau pub local à marcher aussi!     Spacious rooms in magnificent listed Georgian mansion - one of the most beautiful and oldest houses in Torquay. With up-to 5 rooms available it's ideal for families and groups of friends. Every room is large and bright. There's plenty of parking along with the peace and quiet of a secluded, totally private location.
    On the 2nd floor are three double bedrooms, a huge sitting/dining room (with sofa bed), a shower room and a snug with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. On the floor below there is a spectacular double with private modern shower/wet room and access to a shared bathroom. With sea views from both of the double bedrooms and the sitting room on the second floor, we think you'll find these one of the nicest AirBnBs you'll have stayed in. If you choose to book the 3 rooms on the 2nd floor then you will have exclusive use of the shower room, snug (with microwave, fridge kettle and toaster) and massive sitting room; it's basically a three bedroomed apartment accessed through the main house. If you are booking for 9 or 10 people please be aware that one/two of these will need to use the sofa bed in the 2nd floor sitting room (or we can add a single bed to one of the double bedrooms).
    Ideally situated for the Riviera International Centre, International Agatha Christie Festival, Torquay beach, the Princess theatre and Torquay station - all are a short walk away. The Chelston part of Torquay is a leafy suburb with lots of fine Victorian villas and the seafront is but a 10 minute walk. The award winning Cockington Court and historic Torre Abbey are both within easy walking distance.

    An outstanding grade 2 listed Victorian Villa with infinity swimming pool, hot tub and canopy area with splendid sea views over Torbay in South Devon. My villa is 4,500 sq ft 7 Bed, 3 receptions and is in the most exclusive area of Torbay with extensive gardens, decking and terraces with a short walk down to the beach and harbour will make an excellent base for your holiday or short break Perfect for families.
    "Woodend Seaside Villa" is an awesome family home with an infinity swimming pool. It's heated all year round to 29 degrees with sea views - 11.5 metres in length with shallow end (1.25m) deep end (2.5 m) child friendly easy access steps, surrounded by designed decking. Next to the pool is a covered area with hot tub. There are two glass fridges and a sink with water plumbed in. Hot tub is ready for you to relax in at 40 degrees and accommodates 8 people. It has multiple hydro pump settings and underwater lights. Underwater lights illuminate the pool and down lights in the covered area give it a special evening time appeal, you can enjoy evenings looking out over the sea. Hot tub is fun for all the family day & evenings. Full equipped kitchen breakfast room is 7 metres in length with granite worktops, breakfast island bar with three bar stools, a double belfast sink, traventine floor with underfloor heating, large “Falcon” range cooker with two ovens and five gas burner hob, two fridge freezers + under counter fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, juicer and microwave. Additional fridge freezer is also in the utility room. Oak breakfast table. The kitchen leads out to the pool area through a unique opening sash window. The villa has enormous rooms, the three reception rooms on the ground floor are interconnected and make a perfect space for entertaining or separated for privacy should you want it. The lounge and dining rooms at the front of the house can be separated by sliding doors this large space extends to 11 metres. Two sets of French doors from these rooms lead to terracing with outstanding sea views. The lounge has a very good quality sofa bed for extra sleeping arrangements, the dining room has a large Mahogany Oak dining table for family dinners :-) Large 55" wide screen HD internet TV with DVD/ Blu-Ray player set up to stream Amazon & NetFlix. Samsung surround sound home cinema system. SONOS sound system throughout ground floor rooms. A desk in lounge has a 27 inch iMac and printer for you use. 30 MB fibre WiFi broadband throughout house. We have 7 bedrooms, the largest measures 6 x 5 metres. We have plenty of beds across our bedrooms to allow you to tailor the sleeping arrangements to fit your family sleeping arrangements. Three bedrooms over look the sea. Five bedrooms are ensuite. In total there are 5 showers, 5 WC’s and 3 baths in the Villa. One bathroom is downstairs next to a bedroom for those wanting ground floor access. We have flexible bed arrangements to suit your family group. Bedroom 1 is our master bedroom over looking the sea with superb views - it has a very large Superking “Simba” memory foam mattress and a single bed also. It has a superb newly fitted en-suite bathroom; with a bath and two person power shower with rain-water head. Laura Ashley tiled. Bedroom 2 also overlooks the sea - it has a "TheraPur ActiGel" mattress, and several other beds for flexible sleeping - a great family bedroom. On all our beds we only use high denier, quality cotton bedding for comfortable sleeping. Bedroom 7 and 2 work very well as family/ children's rooms. If you look at the plan of the property in the pictures posted, you can the layout of the beds in the other bedrooms to work out your optimum sleeping arrangements for your group. Extensive gardens and terraces extending to an acre in size. Terraces lined with fruit trees, perfect for a walk and relax. A large lawned area further down the garden is available for ball games or more privacy. There is a secret path to walk out through the garden to Meadfoot Beach. It has a fine restaurant with terrace and BBQ/ outside bar on the beach and also beach bar accessible with awesome views. Enjoy stunning sea views from lounge or step onto the terrace through French doors to sunbath in the sun. We will have the range BBQ with gas supplied ready for your use. Cook up a delight for your friends with this outstanding see view (kids will be in the pool !) We have have good contacts locally. We can provide you with a private chef/ catering company to prepare meals whilst you stay or when you arrive arrange a hamper of prepared food, a grocers/ drinks delivery so you don't need to deal with logistics after you travel. Torbay is famous for its micro climate, mild winters and hot summers, or maybe a 10 minutes walk to Torbay Harbour - alfresco restaurants & bars a plenty, Super Yachts, fantastic beaches. Les grandes parties communes et les installations (réussi à faire cuire un rôti pour 23) seulement très légèrement négative était la décoration était légèrement datée mais cela n'a pas affecté notre séjour à tous. Grande communication de l'hôte.

  • Eh bien, que puis-je dire, il est à la hauteur de tout ce que nous avions espéré et plus encore. C'est une belle maison dans un excellent emplacement. Seulement quelques minutes à pied de la plage et de la ville. Le bain à remous et la piscine sont vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau. La communication d'Adrian était irréprochable et nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à célébrer la nouvelle année dans un endroit aussi génial. Je le recommande vivement!

  • C'est un endroit vraiment charmant; Propre, spacieuse, belle vue, et une piscine extérieure vraiment chaude [même quand nous sommes allés en décembre]. Adrian l'hôte était toujours en ligne et n'aurait pas pu être moins envahissant ou plus serviable même quand je lui ai parlé au téléphone car il était à l'aéroport d'Heathrow! Vous pouvez sortir du fond du jardin et être sur le sentier côtier et une plage avec un café en moins de 5 minutes, ce qui était idéal pour les coureurs et les promeneurs de chiens dans notre groupe. Je ne suis pas sûr que vous ayez besoin de 3 frigos [oui 3] dans la cuisine, mais cela démontre bien l'approche d'hébergement d'Adrian. La connexion Wi-Fi est entrée immédiatement, ce qui était parfait pour les travailleurs mobiles et les adolescents. Avec Dartmouth juste une courte distance en voiture et l'agréable port de Torquay à pied de la maison, nous avons passé un bon moment.

Onsite parking for a least 5 cars 10 Person Charcoal BBQ Bi-folding doors opening on to amazing views and a wood burner, which invites you to relax and enjoy the views .
    The spacious, well-equipped kitchen has mood changing lights, induction hob, steam oven and a warming drawer which makes short work of those family meals,(some guests have arranged a private chef ,subject to availability) along with bi-folding doors leading to an outside seating area. Each upstairs bedroom has doors opening onto a balcony with table and chairs, where you have a small sea view and amazing views across the countryside. There is Cat 5 internet together with free wifi ,throughout the property, and for your convenience, all rooms have USB sockets, as well as remote control Velux windows in the hall and bathroom, which close automatically when it rains. Adjacent to the owners’ home, the property also has a large patio area and enclosed garden with amazing views and sunsets across Haytor. Wildlife, such as woodpeckers, buzzards ,deer ,Foxes and a variety of birds, are frequent visitors to the area. There are many miles of coastline, cliffs, coves, beaches and walks in the immediate vicinity, which has a climate that belongs somewhere much further south. There are opportunities for surfing, swimming, diving, sailing, sea angling and wonderful opportunities to study the natural wildlife at leisure. Enjoy superb walks around this stretch of coastline and along the coast to the fishing village of Brixham. Take a ferry from Torquay or Dartmouth and visit Dartmoor with its rugged tors and lovely villages tucked away. Golf, go karting, birdwatching and sailing are all available nearby and the property is situated less than a mile from the beautiful beaches Torquay has to offer. There are many National Trust properties to visit, including Agatha Christie’s summer house ’Greenway’. Walk from Torre Abbey gardens and park beyond to reach the picturesque harbour, theatre, shops, cafés and restaurants. The Living Coasts Zoo and Aquarium where penguins roam freely, is there too and just a short drive or bus ride is Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones and Kent’s Cavern. Torquay Harbour is less than 3 miles. A perfect base to explore all the delights the English Riviera has to offer. There's a bus stop nearby which run regular services to Torquay, Teignmouth and beyond. Hillside is a one bedroom detached annexe, designed specifically for guests comfort in mind. Off road private parking is directly outside.
    Perfectly suited for visiting couples, overseas & solo adventurers, business travellers, professionals, mature students & for those visiting friends, family and local events. We've even hosted a newlywed Bride & Groom ! Hillside is a sympathetically converted detached studio annexe. A compact but very comfortable detached former double garage workshop, offering total privacy, with convenient hassle free self check in and out. It is finished to a high standard, offering flexible accommodation for a maximum of 2 adults. Access is through a wooden front gate leading to the private side entrance with a key access lock box. It has a contemporary style feel about it comprising an open plan ground floor living area with wooden floor, one pvcu opening window with curtains, an integral kitchenette with complimentary coffee, tea & chocolate making facilities, a breakfast bar with two bar stools, kitchen wall units, a 15 Ltr mini fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, glasses, cups & mugs, bread board, cutlery, crockery and tea towels etc. Please be aware though, there is no cooker, hob or oven and as such, is only suitable for the preparation of light meals, takeaway foods and re-heating snacks. A hair dryer is supplied as well as an iron and ironing board. The living area is furnished with a two seater tub sofa, a relaxing armchair, a digital Free view TV with built in DVD player and WI-FI which is free throughout. There is a wall mounted electric thermostatic radiator. Adjacent to the stairwell is a locking shower room with integral toilet and a wall mounted hand sanitizer dispenser. Due to size constraints there is only one wash basin which is located in the kitchenette. Above the wash basin is a retractable shaving mirror with stainless shelf. Freshly laundered hand and bath towels together with tea towels are supplied throughout. The cosy bedroom is located upstairs in the apex of the roof space, comprising a low level double bed with two bedside cabinets, lamps, drawer storage, DAB radio, clothes hangers and flush led roof lighting. There is a fixed UPVC window to the front aspect with opaque privacy screen film and fixed vertical black out blinds. The opaque screen film and black out window blinds are to ensure your ultimate privacy from the outside. To the rear, at the top of the stairs is an opening UPVC escape window with affixed black out roller blind. There is a portable 2 Kilowatt thermostatic electric convector heater and a floor standing electric cooling fan for use during the relative seasons as and when required. The maximum eaves height upstairs in the bedroom is 2.1 meters. There is slightly more than 38 square meters of space overall. Directly outside is a small seating area with a table and two chairs, an outside waste bin, boot and muddy shoe storage box and complimentary umbrellas. Unfortunately we do not allow any outside barbecues, stoves or fires or naked flames of any description.     Kingswear is a fantastic village sitting next to the River Dart with ferries to Dartmouth or a steam train to Torbay. There are beautiful walks straight out of the door and boat trips minutes away. Leave your car behind and go everywhere on foot! There are two great pubs that do food, a cafe, a small shop, post office, yacht club and steam train plus ferries.

Mon mari de 88 ans a si bien réussi que nous avons tous été émerveillés. À la fin de la semaine, il montait et descendait comme un voyageur aguerri. Nous avons aimé l'endroit entier. Le bain à remous était incroyable. Tout. C'étaient les meilleures vacances et Mark était un hôte absolument incroyable - s'occupant de nous au-delà de notre devoir.   • Superbe emplacement, ne peut pas battre la vue de la salle ouverte au sommet de l'appartement. À distance de marche de tout à Brixham. Juste une chose à savoir est qu'il est à côté d'un pub d'un côté et un bar à vin de l'autre. Il y avait de la musique live et pas mal de bruit jusqu'à minuit le vendredi et le samedi, n'était pas un problème pour nous car nous étions debout assez tard, mais peut-être important si nous avons de jeunes enfants. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de super vacances dans cet appartement et Steven l'hôte était vraiment utile.

    Our cottage is situated a short two minute walk to the picturesque harbour of Brixham, where you can watch the boats come and go, and enjoy a meal in one of the many excellent pubs or restaurants. There are great walks around Brixham, to walk off those delicious fish and chip suppers! We have two bedrooms, a sitting room and kitchen arranged over three floors. There is a private courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the sun alternatively a balcony with views out over the town.
    The cottage has two bedrooms, arranged over the top two floors, one a double the other can either accommodate a double or two singles. Both bedrooms have a sink. The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower. The stairs are rather steep so not suitable for people with mobility problems or young children. The cottage is situated on a quiet pedestrianised stepped street so parking is either in the town or on the roads above the cottage. Please note there is no parking at the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. We have a utility room out in the courtyard which has a washing machine and microwave. There is a comfortable living room with a gas fire and table and chairs. Wifi is available.
    Brixham offers so much to do, walking, shopping, dining out. There is nearby Torquay, Dartmouth and Totness. A walk up to Berry head provides an excellent opportunity to spot seals, dolphins and many seabirds. Swimming in the sea or in Shoalstone pool or crabbing in the harbour can fill your day, as well as visits to nearby National Trust properties or Dartmoor

    Wren Cottage is a charming, cosy 2 bedroom cottage. Set down a private track with free parking it is far enough away to be quiet but also only a 7 minute walk (0.3miles) into town. Wren Cottage is suitable for sunny days exploring the area and with its superb log burner cosy nights in. There is a local pub only a few minutes walk which also serves food. Please note the parking space/gravel track will need to be reversed out off but there is normally parking on the hill behind the cottage.

  • Nous avons eu une merveilleuse pause à l'appartement. La vue et l'emplacement sont fantastiques, absolument imbattables! L'appartement était bien présenté et bien équipé, sur un site paisible et bien entretenu. Nous avons trouvé 3 criques facilement accessibles à pied, bien que certains sentiers soient escarpés par endroits et qu’il ne se trouve qu’à environ 15-20 minutes de marche du port. Le pack de bienvenue de scones, etc. était une bonne surprise et nous n'hésiterions pas à revenir ou à recommander cet appartement.

    Spacious double room with sea views and private bathroom available within a family home. Located in the Furzeham area of Brixham, a 5 minute walk from the harbour and town centre. The room is on the 2nd floor of our house (up steep stairs) and the bathroom on this floor is exclusively for your use. On street parking. CAMRA award winning pub 3 minutes walk away. Family friendly.
    The bed is King Size. Tea and coffee available in the room. A telescope is in your room for extended views over Tor Bay. We can also provide a travel cot for babies and have plenty of baby equipment that we are happy to share.
    Furzeham is a quiet area of Brixham with fantastic views across to Berry Head and the Harbour. We have a pub 3 minutes walk away. The historic harbour is only 5 minutes walk.

  • Mon ami et moi avons séjourné dans cet appartement pendant 8 nuits et nous avons adoré. La vue est à tomber par terre - en particulier les couchers de soleil! La cuisine est super basique et le gel douche et le shampoing étaient une bonne idée. Compte tenu de la durée de notre séjour, nous nous sommes servis de la laverie gratuite, super utile! Les instructions pour descendre au bord de l'eau ont beaucoup aidé. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet appartement et j'y reviendrais!

J'étais un peu préoccupé par le stationnement car nous avions réservé tard et que toutes les places réservées avaient été prises, mais nous avons réussi à nous garer dans la rue juste à l'extérieur.

  • Je ne peux pas imaginer qu'il y a beaucoup mieux vues de Torquay que celles de cet appartement. Avec la plage et les restaurants à votre porte et un confortable appartement côté mer, cet endroit offre tout. Je ne peux pas recommander assez et j'ai hâte d'y retourner bientôt.

  • Un appartement frais et moderne avec les plus belles vues de Torre Abbey Sands et au-delà ...! Nous avons apprécié une promenade quotidienne sur la falaise de l'appartement à la marina où il y a quelques bons restaurants. Nos préférés étaient le Pier Point et Rockfish car la nourriture était incroyable et ils étaient excellents avec les enfants. L'appartement était très propre et il y avait de très belles finitions, y compris quelques jets très snuggley pour enrouler autour de vous tout en regardant les bateaux aller et venir de la Marina et le coucher du soleil depuis le balcon. Nous avons utilisé le canapé-lit pour nos petits qui était très confortable. La chambre principale a la vue la plus spectaculaire pour se réveiller et le lit était également très confortable. La salle de bain et la cuisine sont bien équipées pour un séjour loin. Steve était un hôte formidable et a répondu rapidement - tout comme le directeur de l'hôtel pendant notre séjour.

    Private and quiet
    Brixham is an old fishing town with narrow winding streets built between 2 hills, with the town centre at the bottom in the middle. This means that pretty much anywhere you go, will involve some steps, which is easy going down, but not so easy, coming back, especially after a few drinks, and a meal. Local taxis, charge a small fee, to drive you back, should you feel the need, or do what the locals do, and walk.
