All are welcoming detached cabins, the cosy interior, veranda and private hot tub (added extra), makes Fontburn Cabin is the ideal place for a relaxing break for both families and couples alike. As soon as you arrive you will unwind amidst beautiful scenery in a superb fully equipped lakeside cabin with wonderful views. Northumberland is great for both adults and children, with lots to see and do. There are lots of brilliant activities you can enjoy in Northumberland and the surrounding area from golf and horse riding, to town and city shopping they are all just waiting for you, and feel free to ask us about local spots that the tourists don't know about. Our luxury cabin accommodation provides the ideal basis for a unique holiday. Fontburn cabin is a unique accommodation consisting of two bedrooms accommodating up to six people. One bedroom is a double while the other is a twin. The living room settee converts into a bed for two. Our open plan living area has a modern fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV with Freeview DVD and iPhone docking system, the dining table seats six. We have a selection of books and games for adults and children. This cabin is a haven for fun and relaxation.
The cabin is situated in a very tranquil part of Northumberland. Our cabins are set in forty acres of beautiful countryside, with easy access to many of Northumberland’s most picturesque attractions, including Alnwick Castle and Garden, Kielder Forest, Holy Island and miles of stunning moorland beauty. The park has a fully licensed Clubhouse, which serves a selection of food throughout the week and features regular entertainment. If you don’t feel like cooking for a small charge, you can have a meal delivered to your cabin, so you don’t have to worry about that extra glass of wine before you drive home! Children can enjoy the small play park.

  • Grande cabane en rondins au bord du lac. L'emplacement est idéal à côté de l'A1 (littéralement!). De belles touches à l'intérieur, y compris du pain frais et un petit panier de friandises. Les décorations de Noël étaient une bonne idée (nous avons séjourné à la mi-décembre) et le bain à remous était charmant et relaxant. La cabine était de bonne taille pour un couple ou une petite famille. Alnwick à seulement 10 minutes aussi.

  • Patrick était un hôte formidable et digne de confiance qui nous a fourni si rapidement. La propriété est très propre et a toutes les bonnes vibrations qu'une cabane devrait avoir. Il y avait un panier de bienvenue et du lait frais, ce qui était une bonne surprise. Il a été très utile avec où manger et visiter dans la région. Il mérite son statut de superhost.

  • Le chalet est une magnifique retraite dans un cadre serein près de l'étang. Apportez du pain car vous aurez des invités pour vous rencontrer au balcon! Les chambres sont spacieuses et vous avez toutes les commodités dont vous avez besoin pour un bon voyage, y compris le bonus supplémentaire du bain à remous. Patrick était génial et vous a immédiatement mis à l'aise, si vous aviez des questions, il était heureux d'y répondre et pourrait être contacté rapidement et facilement. Le panier de bienvenue et les fleurs fraîches étaient également une touche personnelle. Je reviendrai dans un avenir proche.

  • Excellent endroit et hospitalité géniale. Patrick est venu nous chercher à la gare quand nous sommes arrivés à la gare de Morpeth. Le bain à remous (frais séparés) était très relaxant. Je recommanderais à d'autres et planifierai certainement une autre visite.

The bustling harbour and shops are within walking distance, as is a sandy beach, whilst a few minutes' drive brings you to historic Warkworth, with its medieval castle, charming shops and pubs all serving good food. Comfortably furnished, this bright cottage offers two bedrooms, one double and one bunk and a bathroom with a bath for those long soaks after a tiring day on the beach. There is also a shower. A small fitted kitchen and bright sitting room with woodburning stove, TV with freeview and DVD player, books, board games, DVDs and wifi complete this pretty cottage. Why not take a trip Alnwick Castle and Gardens, or discover one of the many coastal walks taking in a pint and a crab sandwich somewhere along the way, the golden beaches are endless and waiting to be discovered. This Amble cottage is perfect for exploring Northumberland and the surrounding area.
    I moved to Amble by the Sea five years ago and I just love it! Here are just a few things; 1. A proper working harbour with sea going boats..when they land the fish, gulls whirl about to see what they can steal and there’s a beach to meander on. There are boats for hire to see Coquet Island..a bird sanctuary about a mile off the coast ...or for fishing trips, at the Harbour too. 2. A lovely, picturesque Marina to have a walk around with a nice bar, with views going up to Warkworth one way and down to the pier the other. Great place to take sunset photos. 3. Last year, Amble won the best coastal High Street. We have a great selection of shops and , at a time when some High Streets are declining, we’re expanding. 4. The Pods..these are upended boats made into little, cute craft and artisan shops. Located at the Harbour, round the corner from the cottage. 5. Great restaurants on the doorstep! No taxi required. The Boatyard has won awards for the last 2 years as the best fish restaurant in the U.K. 6. A good selection of pubs and coffee shops. A new cafe bar has just opened at the Harbour serving terrific food. 7. Lovely walks..by the sea or in the country..Amble is also very cycle friendly..hire bikes are available locally. Kayaks and surf/paddle boards are also available for hire. 8. Golden beaches that stretch for miles...even in the Summer you can find stretches of beach with no one else there! 9. Lots of local picturesque villages..castles..secluded bays..nice pubs..great restaurants..all within a few miles of Amble by the Sea. 10. And ..the greatest Northumberland foible...you can’t go anywhere without people saying ‘hello’ to you. Amble by the Sea isn’t called ‘the friendliest port’ for nothing!

    This large, comfortable room has stunning views over rolling fields. Close to the coast and a 5 minute drive to Alnwick, a 5 minute walk from Alnmouth train station, it's ideal for exploring Northumberland. Ideal for couples or families, the room has a king size bed, sofa bed & if required, a cot. A continental breakfast is also provided in the room. The en-suite bathroom has a luxurious roll-top bath & large shower. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
    You will have use of a large bedroom at the top of our detached family home. The room has a dining table, kettle, and fridge, with tea, filter coffee, sugar, milk, continental breakfast and fruit supplied. The house makes a great base for exploring the stunning coastline, castles and countryside of the local area, and the large comfortable room with a HD TV and Chromecast will give you space to relax during your stay. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The local area has stunning wide open beaches, and is often referred to as 'Doggie Heaven'. We have a large entrance hallway, you are welcome to leave any luggage here if you need to check in early, or if you need later. We often have this arrangements with visitors who take the train.
    Bilton is a picturesque village approximately 1.5 miles from Alnmouth. The area has a range of great walks both inland and to the coast. Nearby Alnmouth is a beautiful village with a range of independently owned cafes, pubs and restaurants. The large, quiet beaches are ideal for families and are very dog friendly.

  • Wow, si vous désirez dormir sur un nuage et être aux anges, c'est chez Damian qu'il faut aller! Vues imprenables, d'un côté la campagne bucolique avec les chevaux dans la prairie et tout et de l'autre, la mer! Spacieux, hyper propre, ultra confortable, on ne peut demander mieux. À deux pas des jardins et du château d'Alnwick.

    Hunkleton House is a bright and airy house in the historic village of Newbiggin-by-the-sea. Just a 3 minute walk to the sandy beach and local shops, restaurants, fish and chip shop, only 9 miles from Morpeth, 15 miles from Newcastle.
    Hunkleton house is clean bright and comfortable and hopefully has everything you need for your stay. Recently added new furniture and beds, only a stone's throw from the beach. Master bedroom has a king size bed and freeview TV. Second bedroom has a king size bed and dvd TV player. Third bedroom has two single beds and freeview TV. Fully equipped kitchen and a large downstairs family bathroom with separate shower. Outside yard at the rear of the property. Parking front and back. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and local conveyance shop.
    Newbiggin is a nice quiet village with a sandy beach, maritime center and a selection of cafes, shops and restaurants. We recommend the Butcher's by the sea, Ladhars fish and chips and Melanie's Tea Room

Étape pour nous sur la route retour de l écosse, mais on aurait pu rester plus longtemps. Le magnifique Alnwick castle et ses cours de balais volants est à 45 minutes. Mélanie s thea room était fermé mais le shaj tandoory en take away était tout à fait correct.

  • Une maison charmante et spacieuse, très propre et bien rangée et parfaite pour 4 personnes. Pour 6 personnes ayant seulement une salle de bain peut être un problème. Il est situé dans une rue arrière à seulement quelques pas du front de mer et à proximité des boutiques et des restaurants, une base idéale pour explorer Northumberland. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel à d'autres voyageurs.

  • C'est un endroit fabuleux pour les familles, une vraie maison de la maison! Propreté impeccable super confortable et tout ce dont vous avez besoin - même des pods pour la machine à café! Beaucoup d'espace pour six adultes et un bébé (avec tout ce que cela implique) ... C'est une salle de bains en bas mais nous avons fait face! Paul est super serviable et les formalités d'arrivée et de départ sont vraiment faciles. Beaucoup de parking. Belle région assez proche de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Vous devez rester ici!

Nous avons apprécié les promenades le matin et le soir le long de la plage. Il y a un parc courir samedi matin à deux minutes à pied de la maison. Aurait rejoint si nous avions su.

    My home is a characterful and spacious 100 year old stone cottage in a tiny quiet street. There's 3 comfy bedrooms, new kitchen and lounge with dining table and Netflix. It is a peaceful west facing street nestled in Amble. I now have a luxury 6 person Hot Tub Spa too! Amble, known as "The Friendliest Port", has made the Sunday Times Top 10 Seaside Places to Live List. Northumberland also won Gold in the British Travel Awards 2018, so come and see what all the fuss is about!
    Big lounge-dining room with modern reclining sofas and footstools for seating 6 comfortably. Smart TV with DVD player and a range of dvds for guests to use. A wide range of books and some games for all ages are provided too. There is a brand new kitchen in a country cottage style with modern touches. The house provides all the equipment I have in my own home, plus a full sized dishwasher to save you the hassle of washing up. There is a small private yard to the front which can get a lot of sunshine and is ideal for lazy mornings and summer BBQs. The rear of the property has been completely renovated with a luxurious 6 person Hot Tub Spa fitted at the end of February 2019. This is a high quality hard shell Hot Tub, not an inflatable! The Spa has a solid thermal lid which can be locked in place when not in use, making it child and pet safe as well as keeping it warm and ready for you to use day or night, 365 days a year! There are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. The bathroom has a thermostatic shower in addition to a traditional bathtub depending on your needs. The 3 bedrooms all contain double beds. The largest room has an additional single bed, meaning it can be used for small children, treating the room as a Twin room, or (as it is a quality memory foam mattress) has been praised by guests with bad backs. Utility room washing facilities are provided in the garage for wet and sandy pets who need some extra attention. The street has no passing traffic so is a very safe area for children and pets. Amble has a wide range of shops for you, from unique gift shops and boutiques providing local goods, to brand named convenience stores if you have forgotten anything for your trip. The high street is an easy walk away, but parking is free for 1 hour outside the shops if you would prefer. The take aways and restaurants provide an enormous range of options too, from quick and tasty to award winning dining.
    Hope Terrace is a tiny cul-de-sac of just 4 houses. It is situated in a quiet and private location near the top of the high street, a short walk from the river to Warkworth or Amble Marina in one direction, Amble shops, quayside and the beaches in the other.

  • Chris était un hôte formidable, vraiment sympathique et serviable et a répondu rapidement à nos questions. Nous avons adoré le chalet qui était vraiment propre et lumineux et trompeusement spacieux. Amble était une ville charmante et sans prétention et nous aimions pouvoir nous rendre à pied aux magasins, à la mer et à la côte. Beaucoup de beaux paysages et châteaux à proximité. La librairie Barter à Alnwick était un favori et la piscine était fabuleuse et pratiquement vide! Bel endroit.

    Beautifully renovated Victorian coach house with dual aspect views on to Northumberland Street from the front and stunning tidal riverside views from the rear. The Coach House sits alongside a prominent Georgian house, which it shares the name - Seafield. The property is located in the very heart of Alnmouth, with the beach, the pubs, the restaurants and the ambience all within touching distance. Access to the Coach House is entirely separate from the main house, via an inviting staircase.
    The Coach House has its own private access and is very much a self-contained apartment. This holiday apartment has been completely refurbished this year, to a very high standard. The Coach House was originally built in the mid 1800's when the entire property was a famous Coaching Inn called The Northumberland Arms. Seafield is a very special property and offers unique views of the tidal riverside.
    If you have ever visited Alnmouth, then I need not say anything. If you have never visited Alnmouth, then you really have been missing something special. With the mainline East Coast railway serving Alnmouth, London Kings Cross is little more than 3 hours away and the same train that leaves Kings Cross is the same train that arrives in Alnmouth.

    Lynemouth is the ideal stop over for those exploring the Northumberland coast . Tynemouth , Newcastle, Cresswell, Amble. Warkworth and Druridge Bay are all within easy reach . The Cheviots and the Scottish border are about an hours drive away . Keilder is approx 45 minutes drive .
    Lynemouth is a former mining village and my house is a former colliery house which I have renovated . There is one road into Lynemouth and one out with an excellent pub in the next village a mile up the road In Lynemouth there is direct access to the sea road and Cresswell Bay There is also a Co-op, a fish and chip shop, a Chinese takeaway and a chemist very close by .

  • La maison d'Alison est en transition, elle est en train de rénover, mais elle est tout à fait idéale pour ceux qui recherchent la liberté de se sentir chez eux et de pouvoir utiliser les installations, telles que la cuisine, pour s'inscrire dans leurs propres projets. L'hergénérosité et l'hospitalité au petit-déjeuner sont exceptionnelles et, en termes de rapport qualité-prix, cela doit figurer parmi les joyaux de la couronne de la côte nord-est. Le lit est très confortable et thé / café / chocolat provsioins dans la chambre sont super. Le village est petit mais autonome avec une coopérative pratique et assez grande à seulement cinq minutes à pied, à côté d'un chinois à emporter avec des recommandations élevées et d'un magasin de poisson-frites très sympathique et accueillant. Le restaurant chinois est ouvert jusqu'à minuit la plupart du temps, tandis que le magasin de poisson-frites ouvre à midi et jusqu'à 21 heures du soir. La plage est une distance piétonnière (peut-être un mile) sur les dunes de sable et l'idyllique Newbiggin au bord de la mer est à seulement dix minutes en voiture (peut-être deux à trois miles). Le stationnement est facile et hors route si vous en avez besoin et Alison est merveilleusement attentionnée si vous avez autre chose à demander ou à savoir. Il serait injuste de ne pas mentionner les deux gros chiens, car toute personne qui pourrait être un peu timide ou qui n’est pas douée pour les gros chiens pourrait facilement être un peu dépassée par son accueil ... mais ils vous ignorent complètement et sont très mignons (et je ne suis pas un grand fan de chien!).

    Huge chalet style lodge, lovingly self built, super thermally efficient. Warm and welcoming to all. This is our weekend home and is set up for relaxed family time. Huge kitchen, big scrubbed table for lazy brunches, ensuite shower room to main bedroom and TV wall mounted for super relaxed mornings. Living room with squashy leather sofas. Less than a mile from miles of unspoilt and often deserted beaches, great rockpooling, safe bathing and some lovely places to eat. We accept 2 dogs.
    We are very kid friendly, we have stairgates at the top and bottom of the stairs, a large enclosed garden with lots of grass and a playhouse, highchair, changing mat and loads of toys and games. Wooden floors throughout, which are also great for fur babies!
    The house is in a small estate on the edge of a village, the area is very quiet and isn't suitable for anyone wanting nightlife (although Newcastle is only an hour away!) We are across the road from a huge country park renowned for it's wildlife (birds/otters/seals....) and a beautiful beach. It is perfect dog and child walking country.

    The accommodation is a basic cabin set in our private back garden, three minutes walk from Alnmouth railway station on the East coast mainline. It's a twenty minute walk or 5 minute drive to our beautiful local beach. You would sleep in the cabin and use the main house for bathroom/toilet and the kitchen for making drinks and snacks. The house is occupied by three of us- we have a lot of knowledge of the local area and we are active in the outdoors and indoors! (Running and circus mainly).

    Centrally located town house close to beach/promenade. The centrally heated dual aspect twin is pleasingly decorated in a unique seaside style. The room has a pleasant seating ideal for a relaxing beverage, a snack and daily newspaper. There is a large television and dvd player (dvds at no cost). A unit on the landing provides refreshments including refrigerated drinks, light snacks, again at no cost to the guest. Every attempt has been made to ensure an enjoyable visit! BEDROOM 3 - this is classed as a small double/single bedroom, as the bed is 4 feet in size, offered at a cheaper rate. It has a Jack and Jill bathroom.
    Newbiggin by the Sea is historically a fishing village. You will find people are warm, friendly, caring, and extremely helpful. The town Looks to the future whilst retaining past customs and values. The newly established Maritime Centre to the left of the promenade hosts events, and busker evenings. You can have a look around the museum and have a drink in the cafe. Pick up one of their walking guides showing points of interest around the town. The promenade in Newbiggin by the sea is the longest in Northumberland; along the walk there are cafes and pubs to stop for a rest. Look out to sea you will see the "Couple" structure. This was designed by Sean Henry in 2007. Many people have stated that the warm welcome extended to visitors is a unique aspect of this area and ensures a comfortable and pleasant experience., that inspires a wish for frequent visits.

    Broughs House is a recently refurbished 2 bedroom house situated in the traditional mining village of North Broomhill in Northumberland. This cosy property provides the perfect base to explore the coastal route, a short drive from the beautiful Druridge Bay, historic Warkworth with it’s castle and medieval village and also the coastal town of Amble, boasting fabulous seafood restaurants and world famous fish and chips. Exploring further will bring you to Hadrian's Wall and The Scottish Borders
    The house was previously the village store, Brough's, but was converted into two dwellings over 20 years ago. It is a semi detached stone and brick built property with a modern and comfortable interior. The main entrance leads into a spacious yet incredibly cosy lounge-diner, with comfortable sofas. There’s a flat screen TV with digital channels, books and games. The dining area is open plan with a table that seats four comfortably and a door leading into the modern kitchen. Equipped with all the usual appliances; electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, and microwave. Upstairs, leads you to a twin bedroom, the shared family bathroom with over-bath shower, and master suite with super cosy double bed. There is a small outdoor area to the front of the house and an enclosed private yard at the back with outdoor dining area. A high chair and cot can be supplied for a small charge but guests must bring their own cot bedding.
    Long walks on sandy beaches or hilltop hikes, surfing and water sports, amazing seafood restaurants and artisan coffee shops with mouth watering cakes and play areas for the kids. We are very local and knowledgeable about the whole of Northumberland and can help you plan your perfect adventure.

For our breakfasts we offer full english, free range eggs, famous kippers from the Craster smoke house to porridge or scrambled eggs on toast.     Broomhill provides an ideal base for exploring all that Northumberland has to offer, including Alnwick castle and Alnwick garden both of which are a 10 minute drive away. There is an open plan living, kitchen and dining area downstairs, and two comfortable bedrooms with quality bed linen and towels, as well as a shower room with WC, upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the twin room has two single beds convertible to a super king bed on request. A woodburning stove, Superfast Broadband, a smart TV with Netflix and a Tassimo pod coffee machine all help to make your stay more comfortable. There is a handy entrance lobby with a washer/drier and freezer, making a convenient place to dry muddy boots or wet dogs. A private garden with a table and chairs, and open views across the fields, is a wonderful place to relax in the sun with a glass of wine. A small kettle barbeque is available on request and there's secure bike storage if you need it. There are two dedicated parking spaces on the gravel driveway opposite the front door. The cottage is personally prepared for your arrival by your host to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.     Warkworth (2.5 miles), Alnmouth (5 miles), Amble (5 miles) and Alnwick (7.5 miles) are all great places to visit with great pubs, restaurants, shops, art galleries, castles and beaches. The 40 mile long Northumberland Coast AONB gives you huge stretches of pristine beaches and dunes for exploring or just sitting on the sand watching the waves and wildlife. If you crave clean air and solitude, try immersing yourself in the 410 sq miles of Northumberland National Park, a 30 minute drive away. There's something for everyone in this stunning county including adventure sports, great food and drink, art and history. Many of our guests comment that Honeycomb Cottage is in a great location to access everything Northumberland has to offer.

    A cosy furnished mining cottage with great natural light from our big windows will make you feel right at home. This spacious and quiet two bedroom mid-terrace will be ideal for your short stay in Newbiggin-by-the-sea. The house is only a short 10 minutes walk from the Beach, bus routes to Newcastle, fantastic restaurants and Local shops. There's two different routes you can walk into the village, one through a park but can be quite muddy then another along the main road.
    We currently offer a cosy 1 Bed single with secure access.
    We have very friendly neighbours and motor home hobbyists in our Neighbour hood. It is very safe and welcoming.

    Sonsy Cottage is a charming stone built cottage tucked away in the heart of the village. It is a just short walk to the shops, eating places, sandy beach and golf course. Walk in the Cheviot Hills, along the World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall or along the Heirtage Coast and the sandy beaches of Bamburgh, Beadnell, Embleton and of course Alnmouth.

    Riverside Cottage sleeps four and is a period self catering holiday property overlooking the River Coquet. Built by the Duke of Northumberland around 1895, it is set in the attractive Village of West Thirston in the heart of rural Northumberland. Sleeping up to four people in comfort and style, Riverside Cottage is the perfect location in the centre of Northumberland for your holiday.
    This lovely period Cottage is situated in an idyllic rural village and offers views over the River Coquet, perfect for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Just yards from the front door is the riverbank, with miles of beautiful riverside walks leading into the stunning countryside. The Cottage is accessed through a state of the art keyless entry system leading into the Entrance Hall. This simple system means you have the freedom to not worry about carrying keys with you during your stay. In the entrance hall you will find a corner storage unit and towels provided for you to dry down your pet, should you wish to bring one with you. The Cottage has full gas central heating and is fully equipped and includes high speed fibre broadband (Wi-Fi). The Entrance Hall leads into the comfortable and stylish Lounge. It has a beautiful traditional cast iron open fireplace with slate hearth with an original oil painting above it. A lovely three piece suite, oak flooring and traditional window shutters. There is a 40" LCD television with built in DVD player and Sky Freeview HD, BluRay Player and a collection of books, games and DVD's. The Dining Room has an original open grate fireplace with bread oven, wood surround and marble hearth. It comfortably seats four people and is complete with a drinks cabinet full of cut crystal glasses and a wine rack. The room benefits from a beamed ceiling and oak flooring, which adds to the character feeling. The Dining Room also has access to the outdoor seating area with BBQ facilities. The attractive modern Kitchen is fitted with a range of white wall and base units with wooden work surfaces. It has integrated appliances including an electric oven with gas hob and extractor hood, microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine and family sized dishwasher. The kitchen leads to the downstairs cloakroom/WC. Upstairs the Master Bedroom has a lovely wooden double bed with matching bed side tables, a built in storage cupboard with hanging space and chandelier lighting. The room has two windows with traditional panelled shutters and window seats offering beautiful views over the River Coquet and the attractive bridges in West Thirston and Felton. There is also a chest of drawers/dressing table and wall mounted 19" LCD TV with freeview. The Second Bedroom has twin beds and a cast iron open grate fireplace and surround, a built in cupboard offering hanging space and a chest of drawers. Our bed linen is exceptional - the finest 100% Egyptian Cotton, all from the White Company. The modern Bathroom has a panelled bath with hand held mixer shower head plus electric shower over, shower screen, wash hand basin, low level WC, tiled walls and flooring, vanity mirror and heated towel radiator. There is on street parking available at the Cottage for the duration of your stay. There are no parking restrictions on any road or the bridge surrounding the property. There is also an off street parking area opposite the Cottage. Please note that one well behaved dog is welcome to stay at the Cottage.
    Riverside Cottage was built around 1895 by the Duke of Northumberland. The area surrounding West Thirston and indeed the whole of Northumberland is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Village of West Thirston is separated from the village of Felton by the River Coquet that runs in front of the Cottage. Spanning the River Coquet are two bridges: Felton old bridge (pictured right) and Felton new bridge. The old bridge has now been pedestrianised and is scheduled as an ancient monument and as a building of architectural and historic interest. There is no definite date for this old bridge, but it or an even older bridge may have existed here since the 13th century. Whatever the date, it is a fine old bridge of three arches, Grade 2 listed, and widened at some time on the upstream side, probably in the 1800s. The new replacement bridge was built in 1926 and although not considered to be as attractive as the old bridge, it is itself a grade II listed construction. Even the telephone box next to the old bridge is grade II listed! Just over the bridge from Riverside Cottage is The Running Fox, a small, chic establishment nestled by the River Coquet. As well as offering it's own uniquely crafted cafe menu there is a new bakery on-site which serves a wide range of artisan breads, signature pies, traditional cakes and scones. The Running Fox is licensed to sell newspapers and also stock a small range of locally sourced produce and gifts from the surrounding Villages. Also within short walking distance of the Cottage are The Northumberland Arms which has undergone a stunning renovation and is already one of the top places to eat in Northumberland!

Bien meublé, draps de bonne qualité et le lit à ressorts ensaché était aussi confortable que notre lit à la maison, ce que nous n’avons jamais vu auparavant dans aucun cottage où nous avons séjourné. Le panier de bienvenue était excellent. La cuisine était bien équipée et partout était très propre. Le café et la boulangerie Running Fox à proximité, le Foxes Den et le Northumberland Arms méritent tous une visite.

  • Hébergement dans un chalet de caractère bien équipé et meublé dans un village pittoresque avec un accès facile à un pub et un restaurant de qualité. Bon emplacement pour marcher. L'emplacement proche de l'A1 signifie que le transport vers d'autres endroits était rapide et facile. Jamais été au nord-est avant et reviendrons. Excellentes plages et autres activités avec moins de fouilles que les endroits plus méridionaux.

  • Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique au chalet. La région était parfaite pour nous puisque nous pouvions voyager aux plages et aux châteaux dans les 30 minutes environ et nous avons adoré la boulangerie Running Fox! Le chalet possédait de beaux lits confortables et des draps de grande qualité et la cuisine était bien équipée, ce qui était utile pour nourrir les enfants. Le panier de bienvenue a été une excellente touche et nous a fait sentir très bienvenue. Andrew a été très utile avant notre séjour, répondant à nos questions et envoyant des informations détaillées sur l'enregistrement. J'espère visiter bientôt.

  • Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au Cottage. Il est meublé et décoré à un niveau très élevé. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le lit, ce qui ressemblait presque à un lit d'hôtel! Il y a un bon pub à côté, mais l'endroit était tellement agréable que deux soirées sur trois, nous avons décidé de manger. Les mécanismes de la porte sont un peu inquiets, mais nous avons finalement réussi. Andrew était très gentil et très bien communiqué. Il y a de nombreux endroits magnifiques à voir à proximité, et nous espérons certainement revenir!

    Our property occupies a unique position on Amble Harbour. Having lived here, ourselves, for almost 7 years, we would highly recommend the array of award-winning restaurants and cafes that Amble has to offer. Further afield, in the village of Warkworth, Bertrams and The Mason's Arms. There are several beautiful beaches, including the Velvet Beach at Warkworth, Druridge Bay and Hauxley, all on your doorstep. Cruises to Coquet Island are available from the Harbour.
