Découverte de la poterie
With guided, professional instruction, you'll have a fun and creative time making an item out of clay on a pottery wheel. I will show you how to work with the clay, get it ready for the wheel, center it, and eventually start shaping. Usually students can make either a small bowl, plate, mug or vase on their first try. You will get up to 30 minutes of time on the wheel which is plenty to create one item, and then you can add accents to your piece i.e. handle and you'll get to handbuild for the remainder of the time (add accents to your piece). You can take the pottery home with you the same day you make them, or—if you'd like—I can fire your work, glaze it, and ship it to you for a small fee. I also offer other experiences: canvas painting, glass fusing, hand building with clay, mosaics, glow in the dark painting, pottery painting, silkscreening. ***Drop me a note if you'd like alternate time for your appointment.****

Séance photo privée à Yorkville, Toronto
I want to be your friend-photographer for the day! :) This will be a private event! We will be walking around the neighborhood and avoid all indoor locations. Please dress for the weather. We will meet up and discover Yorkville together. If you are interested, I will also tell you about Yorkville's history of fame and fortune (ask me for photos from the 1900s!). We will take some lifestyle portraits in a park - this park gets new decorations every season and is a cultural hub. We will then continue walking towards the oldest street in the neighborhood. This area has a few of the oldest historical buildings in Toronto and a slight European feel. We will stop to admire the stark contrast between new condos and old buildings including some public street art, the chic coffee truck and the street with the most loved Italian restaurants. We will also stop at any spots that you consider photo-worthy. We will end the tour back on Bloor street - one of the most luxurious shopping streets in North America. You can shop here or head for the TTC station. The whole journey should take us around 1 hour to complete Other things to note: - Couples and families please book a private shoot. - If you want a customized tour (for example, a different location/time/date that is not available) please reach out to me first. Then book a 'private group' tour.

Cours à Toronto : créez des produits naturels pour la peau
During this 2. 1/2 hrs workshop you will learn about natural ingredients that you can use in making healthy skin care products. We will talk about the benefits of natural oils & plants that can be used to improve overall health, particularly powerful for skin treatments. We will create a recipe for facial cream, body butter, skin toner, hair treatment oil, natural balms & salves. During the workshop we will have time to make three products. Mother earth facilitates the growth of countless species of plants that contain the secret of essential oils. Since ancient times these have been used in an almost intuitive way. Scientific research has confirmed that they contain a broad spectrum of active ingredients. The most common ways to apply essential oils on our skin is by diluting them in plant based natural oils. When mixed and applied as a cream the active constituents of essential oils and plant carrier oils penetrate our pores. From there they pass through the tiny capillaries under our skin and continue to be incorporated into our circulatory system. The rest of the journey is easy to imagine. You will take home the samples of each product we make. Other things to note Due to many requests for this workshop out of regularly scheduled time, I decided to provide booking for the time convenient for you if it is for 3 people or more. Some notice is required.
