Visite guidée de la ferme de Barking Goat

Our Farm tour will include an interactive personal experience with goats, donkeys, chickens & friendly barn cats. When you arrive at the farm, parking is by the main gate & you will be met by Deborah or Brent, do introductions and go over rules for safety of both animals & humans. We will start off with the story of why/how we started the farm & how it has evolved over the years while you meet the chickens and our rooster Rico Suave. We will talk about different breeds, many colours of eggs & check out the nesting box. Next its on to the goats. We have a total of 34 goats of different sizes , colours & different breeds. Each one has their own personality & are extremely friendly. If you are lucky we might have some baby goats that you can snuggle, as we breed fall thru spring with kids being born spring thru fall. After some fun and lots of selfies, we will head over to the donkeys and pet them thru the fence. They are very sweet, love their head pats, and are also our guardians of the farm. Our animals are excited to meet you

Pêche sur le Crowe Lake en compagnie d'un guide

Fishing tours! Start time is flexible You'll be taken out on a boat by your fishing guide, formerly competitive fisherman Kevin Reid, from the launch on Crowe River. Alternate lakes and times can be arranged. You'll then get to fish - all fishing equipment, safety equipment, and bait will be provided. Beverages and snacks as well (send any requests). Different types of fishing available at different times of year. Lessons available for any skill level, or if you're experienced already, we'll just show you the best spots on Crowe Lake. Afterwards, if you are keeping any of the catch, you will have the option of being shown how to clean and fillet the fish at our nearby property. All equipment will be provided, and all skill levels are welcome. Ages 14+, or younger if accompanied by an adult.

Meet & Feed Adorable Goats, Scavenger Hunt, Relax by Firepit

Do you love goats? Get to know our three generations of goats--meet Granny, Opal, and Dottie! Join us on a tour of our goat pen where you will be introduced to these gorgeous gals! We'll provide food for you to feed the goats while you learn about their unique qualities and personalities. After the tour, take a break and enjoy the view from our large deck surrounded by tall white pines. Relax in Muskoka chairs by the firepit, overlooking the goats. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy while the goats entertain you with their playful antics! Try our fun scavenger hunt! We have set up a mini scavenger hunt in the forest where you will look for unique birdhouses that contain cute fairies. There is also a fun fact about goats at each birdhouse. Each group will receive a package of Farm Themed Ornaments. Each session is approximately 1 hour.
