The 3 story home, with its private dock, was constructed in 2013 and offers breathtaking views from spacious galleries overlooking the lake. Casa Blanca, as referred to by locals, is accessible by road or boat and is conveniently located to all that Lake Atitlan has to offer. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you!

Apartment with pool on huge estate

Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.

Our cozy guest cottage is located right on the lake shore so you'll enjoy de magnificent view of Lake Atitlan and its three stunning volcanoes. You just need to walk through our beautiful garden and dip straight into the refreshing waters of the majestic lake. Or if you're interested in exploring other towns around the lake, you can easily take a boat because we have a public dock right in front of our property! We are located in a very peaceful and safe area of Santa Cruz.

It is just a 15 minute walk downhill (or a 5 minute tuktuk ride) to the popular hipster/holistic village of San Marcos La Laguna. From our road entrance up to the house there are 150 steps to hike, well worth it for the incredible view!
