Our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old. It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. On the edge of the Peak District yet close to the City of Sheffield, Charlesworth’s offers the best of both worlds! Beautiful country walks and several pubs on the doorstep, or a short drive to climbing at Stanage, and Bamford edges. For cyclists, Charlesworth’s is close to ‘Le Tour’ routes. Chatsworth House, Buxton, snooker at the Crucible, and the Tramlines Festival are all easily reached. Families, contractors and dogs are very welcome in this light and spacious cottage.
