Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

Yurt in the woods - 15 min. to Staunton & Polyface

Reconnect with nature on a large deck where you can eat, drink, see trees, and hear the little Middle River rolling by. The yurt is large (for a yurt!) with a small but full kitchen, a new queen bed in the main living area, a double bed in a small bedroom, and a queen mattress in the loft. The mini-split for AC and heat works well but the loft stays warm when it's hot out and is only accessible by a ladder so awkward for some. No TV and spotty internet but cell phones work.
