Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique, cozy and inspiring. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, stay warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove and has an outdoor composting toilet. We also offer professional massage / reiki treatments as well as fresh vegetables and free range eggs.

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Welcome to our lakefront cottage in Mount Uniacke—just minutes from shops, restaurants, and trails. Nestled on beautiful Pentz Lake, enjoy a spacious backyard with a swimmable dock, kayaks, hot tub, and outdoor seating. A BBQ is available May through October. Inside, unwind in a modern open-concept living space with a large TV, dining area, and electric fireplace. Upstairs, you’ll find three queen bedrooms, a full bath, plus a second full bathroom and laundry on the main level.
