In between, spend the day on the lake in your private sandy cove with dock, fishing, hiking or relaxing. Three mile lake road for walking or biking. The area offers many hiking trails and Mt. Monadnock only 30 minutes away. Small convenience store offers basic amenities while Keene’s many shops and restaurants are only 15 minutes away.

Nestled in the quiet woods just north of Mt. Monadnock our cozy one bedroom apartment invites the outdoors in with peeks of the mountain through the trees. Sit out on your private deck and enjoy the view or stroll around the yard and pick a few blueberries in season. We welcome hikers, nature lovers, those visiting friends or family or just wanting to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery and many artistic venues. This room is one half of a floor in our studio building (35 sq m). It is the only occupied space in the building, which is separated from the main house by a yard. There is a queen-sized bed, full bath (no-curb shower), and an outdoor shower (not available in the winter) Small kitchen with a sink, fridge, 2-burner induction hob, microwave/convection oven, toaster, coffee pot, and cookware. Arched ceiling, with ceiling fan, large windows, deck, and Maggie's botanical art lining the walls.

Welcome to the Carriage House! Former site of the popular Hannah Davis House Bed and Breakfast, this gorgeous space is ready for your visit! Beautiful wood beams throughout, a cozy loft bedroom, and a completely separate entrance for privacy. Short rides to Rhododendron State Park, Mount Monadnock, Gap Mountain, the Cheshire Rail Trail, Laurel Lake, and many more outdoor activities year round. Walking distance to the town common in a town where little has changed and history is preserved.

The Library: Seasonal Stays

The Library is a two bedroom home with a granite kitchen, laundry, and a full and a half bathroom. It features thousands of books across many genres, from poetry to fiction. So if you like the smell of an old bookstore then this is the place for you! The steps to the second floor are very steep and narrow. The cottage is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Central Square Keene. Great place to get away to, or work from home with our Spectrum provided fast wifi internet.

The Brick House on Washington Street

Three guest bedrooms in a Colonial home on Washington Street make a great launchpad for visitors to Keene. From here, it's a pleasant walk or drive to Downtown restaurants, the theatre and shops. The Sterling family has owned this pretty place since 1982 and a design studio operates in the barn portion of the space. The open living room with TV and original fireplace adjoin a "tea room" with a bright bay window. Family chef-approved, guests are welcome to use the spacious kitchen.

This custom build apartment is located just 10 minutes from I91. In the winter you are 30 minutes away from some of the best skiing around. Located on 85 private acres with great views this is the perfect winter get away. In the summer you can relax by the firepit, hike in the woods, work in the gardens (just kidding), collect breakfast from the chickens or visit some of the local breweries. I am as close or as far away as you would like me to be with my house right next door.

Swiss Chalet Family Retreat!

Welcome to our family's Swiss style chalet! Inspired by trips to Davos, Switzerland, my grandparents built the chalet in the 1950s to be a family playhouse and gathering spot for their 6 children. It's kind of magical. Today, our large extended family still enjoys holiday celebrations here every year. Our kids love exploring the woodland trails and swimming in Center Pond. We hope you love it as much as we do! Note: the building also has two apartments on the first floor.
