The Patent House

Built around 1760, our log cabin sits on our 3 acre farmette, in the countryside in view of the foothills that separate VA, WV & MD. It's fully renovated, with a master bedroom (queen) & full bath upstairs. There is a convertible sofa downstairs (full). Cabin is next door to our house & shares a fence with our pasture where our mini donkeys live. We have yappy dogs and friendly outdoor cats. We're in the country, so bugs make their appearance but they tend to go straight to the window sills.

'Waterfront' on 1796 Historic Farm

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem! The Springhouse is nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia’s Wine Country! Originally constructed in the early 1800's, the structure was built over a natural spring that was used for refrigeration. Water from the spring maintains a constant cool temperature throughout the year while also filling a pond. The original stone well, channel and stone flooring are all intact for guests to explore and experience how our ancestors lived.

Cozy Getaway near Harper's Ferry, C&O & Potomac

Apartment is located in the center of town and in one of the most historic buildings in Brunswick. You’re within walking distance of restaurants, a coffee shop, a brewery, shopping and the C&O Canal. History and adventure surrounds you as historic Harper’s Ferry is right up the road (or bike path if you prefer). You’re only minutes off of the Appalachian Trail and many other beautiful hikes. Brunswick also hosts its own Mountain bike trail which is right up the road from the apartment.

Nestled on a hillside overlooking the tributary to the Potomac this glammed out cottage has everything you need for a romantic getaway. Immersed just outside the tall glass walls is a private deck overlooking a forest. Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.
