Experience a bygone era in this restored Schoolhouse circa 1866 with many original details such as oversized glass-paned windows, wood plank floors, chalkboards, tin ceiling and more. Modern amenities such as fireplace, private hot tub, fire pit, gas BBQ and access to our pool (June-Sept), pond and tennis court.

The Tent on Beaver Pond

We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.

Beautiful summers for easy hikes and refreshing swims in the lakes of our local Groton State Forest, unbelievable foliage to view from small dirt roads, and tons of outdoor winter activities. Our Cabin is a unique A-frame/Salt box combo that we call the “G-Frame” (designed and built by us). The interior space is open and airy. There are a few large windows allowing nature to be part of your experience indoors. In the cooler months bring firewood for the woodstove and sauna.Plenty of land for outdoor activities.
