Guest are able to let themselves in as the apartment has coded entry. Access and contact details will be provided prior to arrival. Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life .Perfect retreat to relax and read Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.di

Private but part of the main dwelling occupied by the owners, it is at ground level with its own easy access carpark. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.
