Casa Carmona, a Mid-City Garden Oasis near Museums

Casa Carmona is a little oasis in the big city. It's convenient to just about anywhere you would want to visit while in Los Angeles. Private entrance allows you to come and go as you please. Very diverse selection of restaurants and there is a 7-11 as well as a small grocery store (that delivers) less than a block away if you would rather eat in. Laundromat and dry cleaners are one block away which is helpful for longer stays. Street parking is available. Convenient to public transportation. Full access to the guest house and the backyard area including lounge chairs and dining table. I live in the adjacent house so am able to offer help during guest's stay. I love meeting my guests from all over the world but respect your privacy and comfort! Casa Carmona sits behind a charming Spanish house in Wilshire Vista, a neighborhood created in the 1920s. This is a diverse and safe area, within walking distance of Museum Row and the Grove. Plenty of free parking is available. Approximately half my guests rent a car and there is unrestricted street parking available except for street cleaning on Tuesday afternoons. The other half of my guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes. There is plentiful public transportation within walking distance. One bus stop is less than a block away on one major street and another the opposite direction a block and a half from the house. There is also a Zip Car location less than a block away. The main bed is full size. The pullout sofa is twin bed. There is a small fridge/freezer, microwave oven, 2 burner electric cooktop, and George Forman grill for cooking. Also have a Keurig for coffee and electric tea kettle and assortment of teas. There is a end table that is gate-leg so can be used for in-room dining. Folding chairs in closet as well as extra folding table in closet. Hair dryer in bathroom. Plenty of closet space. Two luggage racks. Iron is provided. I also provide a beach blanket, tote and towels for excursions to the beach. For relaxation time at the Casa there are plentiful entertainment options including Amazon Echo, TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, many movies, PlayStation and several board games with even more available upon request!

Spacious Tudor Home with Deck and Hillside View

Enjoy watching the sunset from the deck with beautiful hillside and garden views. This enchanting English Tudor home, mixes vintage details with modern amenities. Entry to the unit is through the garage which leads to a small lobby, and then to the stairs to the second story unit. The entire second floor is yours and includes the living room with a vaulted ceiling and dining area, kitchen complete with refrigerator, microwave, stove and breakfast bar, 2 bathrooms, both recently remodeled and master bath with a deep soaking tub, large master bedroom with walk in closet, guest bedroom, and balcony with a hillside view. You have access to the second story balcony and the backyard on the ground level. There are patio tables and lounge chairs for outdoor entertaining and relaxing. In the backyard, there are several fruit trees which include cherry, plum, apple, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon and peach. When in season, guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruits. I reside in the unit on the first floor and I am generally available to answer questions or assist if you need anything. Located in historic View Park, a little known picturesque hillside community with panoramic views of the mountains and downtown LA. It's perfectly positioned a mere 9 miles to downtown, 8 miles to LA's most popular beaches, and 5 miles to LAX. To get around the city, you can use Uber, Lyft, or public transportation is also available within less than a mile walk. Guests will be asked to provide a valid photo ID at the time of check in if there is no profile picture.

Beautiful, renovated junior one bedroom suite w/ private entrance and private patio area - it has all of the amenities you need for a relaxing escape from the city, right in the middle of the city. It is about 20 min away from Venice Beach, LAX, Downtown LA, Hollywood. You have everything you need in this peaceful and spacious suite. I love being a host! My partner and I purchased our home in 2018 and are restoring her little by little. This is one of the historic homes in the neighborhood and we are doing our best to bring her back to life. One interesting fact about the home, Mike Love, of the Beach Boys, lived here as a teenager and wrote a song about the property that was recorded on the Holland album. You will stay in a tranquil suite with a private entrance at the rear of our home. There is a shared wall with a secure door with locks on both sides for complete privacy. The 1-bedroom 1-bath suite features a kitchen with air fryer/toaster oven, electric skillet, 2 hot plates, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Sofa full size converts to sleep two. This sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping. We can provide a twin size aero bed as well.

This guest house was built in 2023 and is in one of LA’s best neighborhoods. This quiet million dollar historic neighborhood is centrally located minutes from SoFi, the Form, YouTube Theater, Beverley Hills, downtown LA and the beach. Free parking directly in front of house. Full bath and kitchen with full-size refrigerator,  convection microwave, electric stove top and washer and dryer. Queen size bed, and pull out couch. All windows have blackout shades.

This is a private, detached casita, steps from the famed Hollywood Bowl. It sleeps up to 3 people max - 1 queen bed upstairs and twin couch that converts into single bed in first floor living room. This historic home dates back to the early 1900s and sits within a larger compound that consists of a main house that is occupied by your Hosts.
