From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Ursa Minor Waterfall Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax listening to the creek and waterfall. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Clayton. The charming city has shops, coffee, restaurants, a brewery and Wander North Georgia. Explore a bit farther out to Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock Mountain, Lake Burton and Tiger. Cabin has 1 bedroom and a loft with more beds. Full kitchen and laundry. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.
