There are plenty of nature walks nearby (coastal walk, Cold Knap, Porthkerry Park) or hop on a nearby train to Cardiff City centre (approximately 25 minutes journey). Free private parking available.

The Beach Barn

A unique 350 year old Beachfront Barn overlooking Sully Island and a few minutes walk from three seafront bars and restaurants. A tranquil escape from it all, with just the sound of the waves to send you to sleep. The property is located approximately half a mile (about a 10 minute walk) from Twyn Square in the centre of Usk town, which has many pubs shops and eateries. The bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen and there are 2 good sized bedrooms overlooking the front garden. There are many breathtakingly beautiful walks on the doorstep. Access is along a single track lane leading to a private parking area for 1-2 cars. Strictly no parking on the lane please, because it is a public right of way.

The Little Blue House on Barry Waterfront was our first home and is now available as a private place for you to stay and relax. It's in a great location: cul-de-sac, green space to the front, garden to the rear, close to shops, 5 mins walking distance to several beaches and coastal path, also near to the Goodsheds sustainable urban high street. Built new in 2017, it is a bright, spacious and contemporary home. A well decorated and comfortable place to stay. P.S. The sunsets are amazing!

A peaceful, beautiful and spacious apartment with high ceilings, parking, and amazing views from the balcony. The apartment also offers a large 55" TV, pocket sprung mattresses and a pool/air hockey table. You have the whole apartment to yourself! Sleeps 4 people in 1 king and 1 double bed. There is also a small sofa and recliner. Great location, within 10 minutes of Cardiff Bay, the city centre, Principality Stadium, and Whitewater activity centre, the Millenium Centre and more.

Heated Shepherd’s Hut with private hot tub

The Shepherd’s hut and art room are close to the river. There are four self catering accommodations within the grounds each has access to their own hot tubs. The Shepherd’s hut has a shower and toilet, hair dryer, dressing gowns and a heater. Sole use of the Art room is included and has full cooking facilities, a fridge, a wood burning stove, table and sofa. It is an ideal escape for a romantic weekend. The garden is festooned with fairy lights and who are invited to feed the alpacas.

Wern farm cottage is a newly renovated property located on Monmouthshire and brecon canal. Open the front door and you will be greeted by a fantastic view of the beautiful working canal, with stunning barge boats passing daily. The long stretch of canal offers fantastic walking and cycling trails to see the beautiful views that South Wales has to offer. Our beautiful cottage has a double bedroom and twin room which sleeps 4 comfortably. Free on road parking at the property.
