The Berlin neighborhoods of Kreuzberg and Neukölln are renowned for their multicultural character. Join me for a culinary tour that explores decolonial narratives around food, highlighting the global influences that have shaped African and German cuisines. • Meet at Sahara Imbiss, a beloved Sudanese restaurant, where we’ll start with appetizers and talk about the Arab and British influences on Sudanese cuisine. • Next, we’ll walk to nearby Ethiopian and German restaurants, tasting a few dishes at each place. We’ll discuss the historical ties between Ethiopia and Germany as well as the international origins of favorite German dishes like döner kebab. • We’ll conclude by savoring West African dishes at a fourth restaurant as we reflect on how culinary traditions evolve in a globalized world. Over the course of the afternoon, you’ll sample an array of drinks and vegetarian dishes, and leave with my recommendations for other Berlin restaurants to explore.

Actually, think of this as the Politically incorrect tour of Berlin, so feel free to bring along your favorite rude jokes when joining us. It will be full of bad language and bad taste jokes-while paying respect where it is due. No snowflakes allowed! Our exploration will involve memorials, monuments and graves, along with churches and parks. We will discuss a mix of history, current events, local cuisine, the best spots for a cold German beer by the city center of Berlin. Be prepared to be socially active. Other things to note The tour is meant for adults, 18 or older. Each guide will be identified with a small yellow flag and our name!

Spectacle humoristique anglais en bateau

So, here's the plan: You get to become part of one of the biggest and most fun stand comedy shows in English in Berlin! And it's all on a boat! It's a fun, vibrant, energetic and friendly show - EVERY Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We'll have pre-show drinks and then enjoy a great line up of Open Mic comics doing 5-7 minutes of material and an awesome headliner to top it all off. After that we'll have some relaxed drinks at the bar where we mingle and you get to know the comics and the other people joining the experience in a more private setting. So, ask all those questions you've had but never dared to ask about comedy. Other things to note You can smoke on deck, but not in the bar. The bar only serves snacks, but there's plenty of restaurants and bistros nearby. If you ever find one of the experiences as fully booked, consider joining us the night before or after. Le cœur historique de Berlin

Our meeting point is a lovely cafe in the heart of the historic center. After a brief introduction, we’ll start walking. Our first stop will be a former workshop for the blind, where you’ll hear the story of Otto Weidt and his courageous efforts to protect persecuted Jews in Nazi Germany. From here, we’ll continue to the famous "Hackesche Höfe" a 100-year old Jugendstil complex of 8 courtyards where you’ll find some of Berlin’s finest stores. Next we’ll visit the legendary ballroom Clärchens Ballhaus, where Berliners have been drinking and dancing for more than a century, before taking to the “Neue Synagogue” and Berlin’s stunning centerpiece, the renowned museum island - finally reaching the core of Prussian Berlin: the Forum Fridericianum. Don't worry if there is bad weather or if it's cold! We won't walk far and there are many indoor stops during the tour. If less then 3 people book this tour I will have to cancel and you'll be refunded. Other things to note I can offer my experience as a private tour. I can also offer this experience in different languages (French, German), or on different dates than the suggested ones, feel free to write me a message!

Lasst Euch vom Zauber dieser einzigartigen Stadt "verführen" und erfahrt, wie verschiedene Baustile das Stadtbild prägten. Folgt den Geschichten und Anekdoten, die sich um die "vier Weimarer Riesen" ranken. Ergründet, welchen Einfluss die liberalen Herrscher dieses kleinen Fürstentums auf Weimars Entwicklung ausübten. Erspürt Weimars "Beschaulichkeit" und "Weltoffenheit". Kurz, taucht bei diesem Streifzug durch die Altstadt in die spannende Geschichte Weimars ein und entdeckt dabei auch versteckte Schätze dieser Stadt. Peinture et techno avec une artiste berlinoise

I would like to invite you for a 2.5 hour workshop, to paint together, to discuss art and music, and to get acquainted with Berlin’s unique Techno scene. This workshop is meant for you to express your creativity. You won’t need to buy materials and you don’t need to have prior painting experience. You just need to show up and enjoy the process. In the end you will have a beautiful work of art (acrylic on canvas), made by you, ready to be hung on your walls. How it goes: First we will explore the creative process, and decide on the color palette for each person. Then we will absorb ourselves in the music and learn how to translate its energy into painting. You will be personally instructed in the unique technique and the use of colors. We will begin to work in layers of color. You will be immersed in the creative process, forgetting your everyday life and expressing your inner playfulness. We will take one break to dry the layers, discuss the process, evaluate the outcome so far and decide how to proceed. During the break drinks will be served. While we're painting I will gladly share the "secrets" of Berlin's club culture. Discussing the dress codes and door policies of the major clubs, where I party every weekend.
