There are two playgrounds nearby, one just over the fence, and another one 3 mins walk - 200 meters to Westlake.

Lovely quiet area with beautiful views of the hills and a 900m walk from Sandy Bay Beach. 25mins drive from Christchurch Centre. Please note there are no shops in Governors Bay but there is a cafe and a pub.

Our home located in residential area with 15 min drive to Christchurch CBD, 10 min to the beach, 20 min to airport and 5 min walk to a beautiful lake. Your room has everything you need with a private bathroom and toilet down the shared hallway. you are always welcome to use the shared kitchen/ dining/lounge/outdoor area as you like. During your stay we are happy to interact as much or as little as you would like. The stay is shared with my family of 4.
