Join me, a beer sommelier, for an immersive 3.5-hour dive into Dutch beer culture and history with a pub crawl through Amsterdam’s Old Town to uncover how beer shaped Dutch history—from medieval times to the modern craft beer revolution. • We will meet in Dam Square right in front of The Royal Palace and then take a 5 minute walk to our first venue. • Our first stop will be De Pilsener Club, a cozy traditional bar that opened in 1893. Sip a classic beer and jenever—a juniper-flavored liquor popular in the Netherlands—as I explain beer’s impact on trade from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. • Next, head to the tasting room at In De Wildeman to enjoy a carefully chosen beer from the selection of 18 on tap and 250-plus in bottles. I’ll discuss the effects of the Industrial Revolution on commercial brewing. • Wrap up with a locally brewed craft beer at Proeflokaal Arendsnest, which has more than 50 Dutch beers on tap and more than 100 types in bottles. In this immersive 3.5-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll design and create your own piece of sterling silver jewellery, whether it’s a ring, pendant, earrings, bracelet, cufflings, or brooch. The session is led by experienced jewellers (Naroush, Noor & Vera) with expertise in both design and craftsmanship. We will be working in the atelier of STUDIO eF7 in groups of up to 11 people. What to expect: - We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the history of silversmithing in the Netherlands and the heritage of our workshop’s location in an old shipyard. - Next, you'll watch a step-by-step demonstration of how a piece of jewellery is created, using various tools to shape and modify silver wires and sheets. This will provide a clear overview of the entire process and the design possibilities. - Then, it's time to design your piece. You can bring reference images or sketches, or develop your design during the workshop. Check the website of STUDIOef7 for inspiration. We’ll guide you in refining your idea into a feasible design. - Now, roll up your sleeves! Using techniques such as sawing, forging, filing, soldering, sanding, and polishing, you’ll shape and finish your unique piece of jewellery. Want to learn how to make your own delicious edibles? At Get Baked Amsterdam we pride ourselves on offering a unique once in a lifetime high quality experience. We'll be meeting you at the local dispensary that we are cooperating with. Here we will buy the special ingredient together as a group. After, we will walk back to our workspace where the experience will start. We will be teaching you how to make delicious brownies (9 pieces per pair) and gummy’s, step by step. Meanwhile, we would love to educate you on the Netherlands in general, such as it’s history, culture and customs. As well as telling the story about its extraordinary relationship with cannabis. We find it of paramount importance to facilitate a safe, welcoming, and trustworthy environment for everyone who wants to participate. Even if you just would want to observe, and instead learn how to make normal brownies and gummies from scratch, you are very welcome to join. We cater to vegan and gluten-free dietary wishes but only with a minimum of 2 people since the baking takes place in pairs. These options are only for the brownies; gummies include gelatine. Closed and Heated Boat from November 1st till March 1st. Otherwise an open boat! Februari 21st at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm will be an open boat! The Friends and Family boat tour. With a fun group (24 guests) on a full electric boat, you will see and hear more than on those glass busses. You will go on the most relaxing, comfy and fun family and friends boat ride through the canals of Amsterdam. But not just any boat ride. You will be indulged with stories, history and humor. But besides that, you will also be meeting guests from all over the world. And they all speak English. Get to know France, India, Spain, Andorra, Italy , US and so much more while your at it. It will be the experience of a lifetime. I am a 100% sure you and your family and friends will have a great time. You will love it! La Veluwe : découverte de la nature hollandaise

The 'Veluwe' is the place to be in The Netherlands when it comes to hiking through forests, 'heide' and spotting wildlife - from small birds to large mammals like deer and wild boars. Being in nature is my greatest passion and during my everyday hikes, I've discovered the best routes in the neighbourhood to walk on and to admire nature, and probably even spot a deer or two. Depending on the time of the day and your own wishes, there are three options I'm happy to offer you: 1. A scenic route, with some nice vantage points to take great photos. We will go alongside and even through both WW1 and WW2 original and unmarked trenches. This route takes you through varied terrein such as sand, open plain, forest and dirt tracks. 2. The wildlife hike. I designed this track myself based on places where I've spotted deer and wild boars. Best time is in the late afternoon, but during the day the forest is a very relaxing place. 3. Want me to guide you through the Hoge Veluwe / Veluwezoom? No problem, just message me :) On the way, I will be more than happy to tell you everything about Dutch wildlife and (if you're interested) wildlife and landscape photography. Just be sure to bring along your camera gear, some good hiking boots and be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the time of the day and year. Looking forward to showing you the beauty of the last remaining Dutch wilderness!

The Utrecht Night Photography Tour

The night photography tour of Utrecht. When the sun sets in the old city centre of Utrecht we go out. Armed with your camera and your tripod we will visit this old city centre with his beautiful canals, historic buildings and lively atmosphere. With in the background the gorgeous Domtower watching over us. The city is great for long exposure photography. And with your camera and your tripod we will visit the best spots. In this 2 hour journey I will tell you how to set up your camera and tripod and take long exposure photo's. I live in Utrecht and I know all the spots to visit for great compositions, so you don't have to find them. For me it is important you have a lovely time and take pictures you want to have framed on your wall. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an experienced photographer. While we walk from spot to spot I can tell you about the history of the spots and the city we will visit. Everything is in walking distance. Total amount of walking is aprrox 3.5km or 2.2miles. But wear comfortable shoes and bring a a bottle of water during the tour. And if you have any questions about editing your pictures, or any other (photography related) questions during the tour, I will be happy to answer them.

Votre photographe privée à Amsterdam

This is a private shooting, we will explore the centre of Amsterdam looking for hidden gems, quiet small canals, nice cafes and interesting scenery. The session last from 45min to 1hr. I will photograph you and your family or friends along the way, and share some interesting background stories about some of the canal houses. If you haven't been on a photo shoot before or if you are camera conscious, don't worry, I will help you look natural and feel comfortable in front of the camera. "Award winning Airbnb tourguide" Still tulips in bloom at the Tulipfarmer! Last chance to see tulips and windmills From the 1 st of May a visit to a tulipfarmer and his fields and the windmills. Visit a still working sawmill with explanation of the sawing process. This seasonal all inclusive experience is only 6 weeks available. See beautiful blooming hyacinths, daffodils and tulips and their different varieties! Book now to see endless rows of flowers that bloom only in March, April and May The small group (max 7) experience feels like a private tour. We come at places where no tourbusses can come. Also we will visit a tulip bulb farmer and we can walk in between his fields. When the group is complete, we do a short introduction. From Amsterdam we drive west to the bulb region. Through rural roads we see the flower fields left and right. We stop a few times to take beautiful pictures. On the way I will tell stories about the history of the tulip, the fields and how the farmers grow and cultivate them. Halfway during the experience we have a coffee stop with Dutch apple pie at a unique place. A great time to connect and get to know each other a bit more. From there we drive back through the tulip fields to Amsterdam and stop for more pictures. Water is available in the car. Coffee, tea and apple pie is included. We drive in a luxurious spacious Van.
