Relax with family, friends, or enjoy a solo retreat at this peaceful place to stay in the country. Chestnut House was built in the early 1940s, with Wormy Chestnut wood everywhere! It is a unique home, with an apartment built over a garage / wood working shop.. then connected to the main house later. This space available to rent is separate and fully functional from the main house where we live. Enjoy 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living area.. along with the large outdoors!

Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. In the heart of the Laurel Highlands this home is close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking, Idlewild and Soakzone, and Ligonier Camp and Conference Center.

Flanigan Farmhouse - Cozy, modern 3 bdr on 4 acres

Listen to the frogs sing in the springtime, pick raspberries and blackberries in July, peaches in August, and pears in September, watch birds from the porch swing, relax in the hammock, swap stories around the fire, and gaze up at a starry sky. Our farmhouse is on a quiet, beautiful corner of the Earth and we love being able to share it. It is private and bucolic, but a very short drive to amenities, adventure, and lots of gorgeous outdoor enjoyment.
