Welcome to our home, your hosts Jan & Stuart. We provide a private lockable self contained unit in the downstairs area of our 2 storey home. No required interaction unless you require something or would like some local knowledge on things to do. Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Absolute water front with panoramic ocean views and access to the beach below for fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, exploring, or just sitting on the sand. Enjoy all day sun from the ocean facing decks and then retire to the courtyard in the evening for a BBQ while sitting in front of an open wood fire. Our bach comes complete with everything needed for a beach holiday, weekend retreat or romantic getaway. Access to the Bach is down a short but moderately steep bush track(see photo).

Perched above Staffa Bay on the stunning Tutukaka Coast, this 1970s Warwick Lee–designed home is a true Kiwi bach — full of character, cosy, and surrounded by native bush with sweeping views over Woolleys Bay. Nestled among nikau palms and birdlife, this peaceful treehouse-style retreat offers direct beach access via a private track (just 25 metres from the house to the sand). The magical Whale Bay Reserve is also just a 5-minute walk away.

We have a new modern two bedroom home with amazing views out to The Poor Knights Islands and over looking Dolphin Bay.There are many beautiful bays and interesting bush walks all within 10 minutes travel of our property.The Tutukaka Marina is a 5 minute drive where there are resturants and local shops.

A stones throw from the waters edge and yet close to all necessary amenities. Ample parking. Easy access and close to town. A good selection of bird life to watch. Please Note: We charge an extra $10.00 per day for EV slow charging using a 10 amp plug. This is payable when this service is used.
