This recently refurbished apartment sits above Heist Brew Co bar and Brewery. With floor to ceiling feature windows, this 2 bedroom, 1 ensuite spacious and open planned studio apartment boasts quirky evening mood lighting, and unique decor that adds to its industrial styling. Offering the unique experience of staying above a brewery we also offer brewing experiences which can be found via our website by searching Heist Craft. Or check out our events and come and stay with us for the weekend.
Heist is situated in an old school from the 1800's and is attached to the brewery which is situated in the oldest building in Clowne so the building is steeped in history. It is also a building with original characteristics such as single pane wooden framed windows and wooden structural beams which have been stripped to their original glory. The apartment has 2 bedrooms which are divided, however it is recommended that if both bedrooms are being used for the stay that the parties know each other as they are required to share the bathroom attached to Bedroom 2. The bar is operational hours are as follows: Mon - Closed Tue - 12 - 9 Wed - 12 - 9 Thurs - 12 - 10 Fri - 12 - 11 Sat - 12 - 11 Sun - 12 - 9 The walls are very thick between the bar and the apartment however it is worth noting that customers and music may be heard on busy evenings until closure.
Clowne is an old mining village situated in the middle of rolling fields surrounded by a number of other villages, local parks, heritage sites, Manors, stately homes as well as being home to walking and cycle routes with links to national routes. Clumber Park, Creswell Craggs, Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall, Welbeck Abbey and Rother Valley to name but a few local attractions. (Gullivars world coming soon to Rother Valley) There are also other towns, cities and other attractions within driving distance (or a short bus or train journey) such as Chesterfield, Sheffield, Worksop, Newark as well as the famous Chatsworth Manor for a bit of culture and Meadowhall shopping centre all within a 20 - 45 minute drive. Heist is located 2 miles from the M1 with quick links to all the above. Sporting activities are also in abundance such as walking and riding, climbing and bouldering, water sports (Rother Valley) as well as multiple golf courses: Rother Valley - 7 mile Renishaw - 6 mile Bondhay - 2 mile Lindrick - 10mile Worksop - 9 mile Barlborough - 1 mile Clowne is small enough to walk around with local tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and bars with the best obviously being Heist. But all offer something different for a multiple night stay.

My home is a Grade II listed, beautiful chocolate box cottage believed to date back to the 17th Century. It is part of a converted farm that once served the Manor House next door (now a hotel & restaurant). Dual aspect windows and a high a-frame ceiling make the room light and airy. The room has a television with Freeview and built in DVD player, with a small selection of DVDs available. WiFi is available throughout the house. The double bed is really comfortable (I tried it to check ) and there is a chest of drawers available for your clothes. The bathroom has a large quadrant shower, corner sink and toilet. The bedroom is for your sole use during your visit. Towels and bed linen are provided. The cottage is just 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Moss Valley, providing plenty of mid-length walking. There are several pubs within walking distance and a hotel and restaurant right next door. A further single room, more suited to a child can be available on request at an additional cost.
On the southern edge of the city, half a mile from the Derbyshire border. Just 2 minutes walk from the beautiful Moss Valley, next door to Mosborough Hall Hotel.

  • Il est toujours bon de rester au «Chocolate Box Cottage» de Louise: si paisible et relaxant. La chambre à coucher est ravissante et, depuis ma dernière visite, il y a un nouveau réfrigérateur pour le lait, etc., en plus du délicieux petit-déjeuner! Bonnie le petit chien est assez délicieux.   • Le cottage de Louise est un endroit charmant et Louise est une hôtesse merveilleuse et sympathique. La chambre est entièrement équipée avec télévision, réfrigérateur, nourriture pour le petit-déjeuner et café / thé. Il est très bien situé, à proximité de nombreux équipements. Pleinement apprécié mon séjour et recommande fortement.

    The house is situated on the outskirts of the village in Clowne. It is less than two miles from Van Dyks Hotel. Worksop, Chesterfield, Mansfield and Sheffield are within easy reach. The house is minutes from the M1 at junction 30. The peak districts, Cresswell Crags, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Rother Valley Country Park and Bolsover Castle are within easy reach. Twenty minutes on the M1 to junction 34 brings you to Meadowhall Shopping centre.
    Clowne is a great place offering everything you need. Less than a mile away you will find a 24 hour Tesco and fuel station. Dominos pizza , Chinese takeaway a choice of three village cafes and a wonderful wine bar and bistro. You also have the usual amenities you would expect to find in the heart of a very quickly expanding village

  • Endroit fantastique pour rester. Debbie semble avoir pensé à tout et a été si utile. Elle a également répondu très rapidement à toutes les demandes et était très désireuse d'aider. Les lits étaient très confortables (ce qui n'a pas toujours été le cas), donc c'était génial. Nous choisirions certainement de rester dans cette propriété à nouveau. En outre, le village est très bien desservi avec un Tesco et un Aldi, ainsi que d'autres magasins et plats à emporter qui, pour une petite place, était génial! Merci beaucoup à Debbie pour son hospitalité.

    Carpenters Lodge is situated in the village of Marsh Lane on the edge of the Peak District and offers high quality self-catering accommodation for up to four people. The Lodge is attached to our recently renovated Barn Conversion, however is independent from the main Barn having its own entrance, garden and seating area. The Lodge is well equipped for self-catering holidays and there is a good range of information leaflets and maps in the property. Gill and Steve will offer you a warm welcome.
    The whole of the cottage is yours - kitchen, lounge with dining area, downstairs large bathroom with walk in shower and bath, double and twin bedrooms upstairs with a toilet and hand basin on the landing. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.
    The village of Marsh Lane is close to shops with a Co-op 5 minutes drive away and a Morrison’s supermarket 10 minutes drive away. There is a petrol station a mile away from the cottage. The Peak District is 30 minutes away with fabulous countryside and of course the ever impressive Chatsworth House Estate.

    This house is situated in a residential area mins from junction 31 M1. Has off street parking, three bedrooms a four piece bathroom and sofa bed sleeping two in the Lounge.Perfectly located for Gullivers Valley,Less than 5 Minutes away along with Aston Springs and Rothervalley Country park..Sheffield , Rotherham, Doncaster and Worksop are within Twenty Mins . The surrounding Peak District to Chatsworth House, Matlock,Castleton, Bakewell and the peaks are all an approx 30mins drive away
    You have full use of the house with one double in one room and two singles or a double zip and link bed in the second bedroom and one single in the small bedroom. There is a double sofa bed in the dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to knock up a tasty meal. There is a local pub called the Roland Arms just a five minute walk away and the local shops and take aways are all just off Mansfield road. Aston Hall Hotel is also within walking distance. Elmwood Farm restaurant does an excellent help yourself carvery and is very reasonably priced. If you are coming to stay because you are working in the area you are within easy reach of the M1 at junction 31. If you are travelling with young children you have the use of my child friendly kit including travel cot, changing mat, high chair and booster seat there is even an emergency set of baby bibs and plastic bowls, cutlery and plates. There is no baby gate but there is a door to stop the little ones climbing the stairs.
    Being in a residential area you have all the convenience on the doorstep. Great local pubs serving home cooked food. Really good choice of take aways. Menus at the house and of course the co op is just around the corner.

  • Quel super endroit où séjourner - une maison loin de chez nous. Je me suis senti bienvenu et confortable à partir du moment où je suis entré dans la maison Debbies. la cuisine a tous les ustensiles nécessaires pour préparer un bon dîner. Il y a aussi un moulin à café et une cafetière pour une nouvelle infusion du matin. C'est un endroit que je peux recommander à tous ceux qui séjournent dans la région de Sheffield, que ce soit pour leurs loisirs ou leurs affaires.

  • J'ai eu une famille en visite d'Écosse pendant une semaine et j'ai réservé la propriété de Debbie pour leur séjour. La propriété était idéale pour la famille. La maison était propre et rangée, la salle de bains était spacieuse et spacieuse, et la cuisine avait tout le nécessaire. Il y avait une sensation très "familiale". Debbie était très accommodante, m'a permis de voir la propriété à l'avance et a facilement accepté d'apporter des modifications mineures pour que mes invités se sentent plus à l'aise. Un grand merci à Debbie pour avoir fourni le barbecue et la table et les chaises extérieures. Je n'hésite pas à recommander Debbie en tant que super hôte.

  • Je suis restée ici plusieurs fois. Chaque fois, il y a eu deux semaines complètes, ce qui est amplement suffisant pour apprendre à connaître le lieu et l'hôte, Debbie. Debbie a toujours répondu très rapidement et a été totalement utile en tout temps. La maison elle-même a tout ce dont j'ai besoin, est propre, spacieuse, confortable et ne pouvait vraiment pas demander plus. Beaucoup d'oreillers et serviettes, wifi, cuisine complète avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, une douche mieux que la moyenne, parking hors route, check-in facile, tout le temps passé là-bas simple et relaxant. Si vous avez besoin d'un endroit pour rester dans cette zone, je ne peux pas vous recommander cet endroit. Si vous avez une voiture, vous pourrez facilement accéder à Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield et Doncaster, ainsi qu’à un accès facile à la M1 et à la M18. Les excursions d'une journée en voiture jusqu'au Peak District sont également très faciles. Il est décrit comme un logement budgétaire, mais ce n'est vraiment pas le cas, à bien des égards, il est meilleur que chez moi!

The village has a number of clubs and societies, including Whitwell Scout and Guide Group, Local History Group, Whitwell Players, Whitwell Brass Band and junior band, a number of churches covering diverse nominations; Natural History Group, cricket, green bowls, and football clubs. If you enjoy a pint of beer or fancy a bite to eat, then do not fret, as the village has 6 public houses and a range of eateries either in or close by the village. Nearby is the ever popular Whitwell Wood covering some 171 hectares, which is managed by the Forestry Commission and offers a range of interesting rambling trails.     Large double room in family home. Quiet and picturesque setting on the edge of Eckington with a large garden adjoining the Moss Valley. Next to Eckington Church, near by Mosborough Hall & Rennishaw Hall and a short drive to Sheffield City centre, Chesterfield and the Peak District.
    We have the choice two large double bedrooms, there are two bathrooms for guest use, which are separated from the rest of the house. There is ample private parking in our courtyard and guest are very welcome to make use of the garden. Pets are welcome but please arrange as we have 2 cats and 1 dog ourselves.

    The Barn is set remote and in an isolated part of the Country. Absolutely divine, The Barn is surrounded by countryside and nature. We have a luxurious designer kitchen and bathroom, laundry room, cosy and warm snug with log burner and two fantastic double bedrooms - Stags and Hares, with sleeping arrangements for 2 more in the Hare bedroom. Outside is a private secluded patio with private use of the hot tub but our own gardens are free for you to wander around.
    Situated over two floors and totally independent within. Staircase to first floor from large fully equipped designer kitchen Dining Room which has oven, coffee machine, warming drawer, fridge and dishwasher all available for guest use. Separate room for cloaks, boots etc. with washing machine, dryer, second fridge and freezer. Bedrooms have their own hairdryer, shower mat and welcome toiletries. Bathroom has freestanding bath and separate walk in shower.
    Oxcroft Farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of places to walk. Bolsover Castle is 2 miles away and Hardwick Halls are 4 miles. The area is steeped in history and a book is available for guests to read about this as well as places of interest that they may chose to visit. Cresswell Crags is a National Heritage Site and is 2 miles away with it's amazing visitor centre and a wonderful meander around a fabulous lake surrounded by caves originally occupied by Woolly Mammoth, Sabre Tooth Tigers and prehistoric Man. A country inn serving fantastic food is a 40 minute stroll away on a bridle path, or five minutes in the car. The village of Clowne has a large TESCO, Aldi, Wilkinsons as well as several pizza and Chinese takeaways. There are three cafes and two Wine Bar Bistros. As well as a traditional authentic Italian Restaurant (also offering a take out service). It is within walking distance or five minutes by Car. The town of Bolsover is also within walking distance or a couple of minutes by car. Bolsover Castle is here, An Antique Centre, independent shops, Post Office as well as a couple of pubs and a Wetherspoons. We have the wedding venues of: Hazel Gap Barn, The Elm Tree at Elmton, Bondhay Golf Club, Ringwood Hall, Van Dyk's, Mosborough Hall, Renishaw Hall, Renishaw Golf Club, Sitwell Arms oh but to name few right in our doorstep. What could be more lovely than leaving from here, staying here, coming back here??? In our home, we have a "gone with the wind" staircase which we would love to have any bride come down our stairs for the perfect photograph! We have intentions for sleeping arrangements for another 8 in The Stables which is part of our gated property and this should be available for Bridal Parties only from 2021.

Bedrooms can be configured to your preferences with 7 single beds or 3 large doubles and a single as well as an extra large double sofa bed in the living room. There is a huge free to park car park at the bottom of the garden.
    Killamarsh is an ancient village that has a proud history. We have the Peak District 10 minutes away, Rother Valley country park 100m away and plenty of local ameneties: 2x supermarket (Aldi & Co-op), 7x fast food shops (we recommend Ahmeds curry's), various local businesses that are worth a little look at.

  • J'ai séjourné ici encore. Si vous avez besoin d’un endroit pour rester dans cette région, je ne peux pas vous recommander cet endroit. Le propriétaire est très réactif, l’endroit est très confortable et beaucoup plus spacieux à l’intérieur qu’il n’apparaît à l’extérieur. Il est à distance de marche de deux supermarchés de taille moyenne; un certain nombre de restaurants, de plats à emporter et un grand café; et une belle réserve naturelle pour une belle promenade.

  • Emplacement très pratique à côté de deux petits supermarchés. Endroit confortable, trompeusement grand, avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un court ou long séjour. Si vous avez besoin d'être près de Killamarsh, alors c'est l'endroit où séjourner. Il n'y a pas de parking sur place, mais il y a un parking gratuit à une courte distance. De nombreux lits et deux salles de bains en font un lieu idéal pour une réservation en famille ou en groupe. Internet était rapide, la cuisine avait tout pour que ceux qui aiment cuisiner eux-mêmes, le chauffage était chaud et son interface facile à utiliser facilitait l'allumage et l'extinction lorsque cela était nécessaire. Je serai de retour ici le mois prochain pour encore deux semaines, cela montre donc que je n'ai eu aucun problème avec cette maison :)

  • La maison est une maison typique anglaise sur trois étages. Les escaliers sont un peu raides, il faut faire attention. Debbie nous a bien renseigné sur l'endroit exacte de la maison, sur le parking et sur le supermarché juste à côté. Nous avions des cookies, du lait et de l'eau à notre arrivée. C'était vraiment appréciable. Merci Debbie, tu nous as super bien accueillie.

  • La maison est située dans le centre de Bolsover, à quelques minutes à pied de quelques pubs, d'un supermarché et de la plupart des magasins. La maison elle-même est propre et décorée avec des meubles anciens. Toutes les commodités sont là, laveuse, sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, SkyeTV et wifi. J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour et je recommande vivement Minnie en tant qu'hôte. Je serai certainement de retour

  • Notre famille avait prévu de se réunir dans le Derbyshire / Peak district et nous avons décidé de rester tous à Minnie Place: bonne idée car nous avons passé le meilleur moment ensemble depuis longtemps! Church Farm House est une maison merveilleuse avec beaucoup de caractère et de style et nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Nous avons apprécié les soins et l’attention, nous avons même eu des articles de petit-déjeuner fournis pour nous! En outre, Minnie a laissé deux lits de voyage dans la maison pour nos bébés, ce qui nous a même évité les tracas de les emmener avec nous. Ce fut une expérience très agréable dans l'ensemble et nous avons apprécié le quartier - le château de Bolsover vaut le coup d'œil, et vous ne devriez pas manquer de visiter Chatsworth House. The location is superb for visiting The Peak District and Sherwood Forest.

    The home is very spacious and light, with a great mixture of styles of furniture and decor. Situated in the small village of Harthill, which has 2 pubs, a shop, butchers, bakers, grocers, hair dresser and launderette. The village has a reservoir which you can walk around, and the village is surrounded by countryside which is great for walking, to the next village and pub! A key safe is provided and the owner will pop in at some point on day one to check everything is OK.
    Kiveton train station is located 1 mile away, which has a direct route to Sheffield center (20 mins). Meadowhall shopping centre is 20 minutes drive away. The peak district is a 35 / 40 minute drive, which makes for a fantastic day out hiking in the stunning hills.
    Harthill village is such a friendly place to live, and we cannot recommend it enough! The butchers is fantastic and you should not miss out on the thin tomato sausages, they are delicious! The grocery is amazing, always stocked with fresh fruit and veg, a large selection of vegan items and they are also have a top up section where you can reuse your shampoo, conditioner, washing up liquid bottles etc. The bakery is always busy, and with freshly baked bread, cakes, sausage rolls and quiche’s it’s always worth dropping in to pick up a treat!! The Beehive pub is a 2 minute walk from the front door, serving great food and beer. A pint of the beehive blonde is highly recommended. The bluebell pub is a 5-10 minute walk, which has a great garden for the kids, a snooker table and serves a lovely pint of Farmers blonde.
